Derek Jeter is so awesome...he's so dominantly clutch that I am going to explode in amazement.

...he's so clutch that the Indians dominated his team.

I still trust no other player in baseball more than Jeter in clutch situations...

You're right! There were no clutch situations in this series, that's why he hasn't shown up yet.

He stunk this series, no doubt about it...

But he's the player you love to have, and opposing fans love to hate...Which is pretty well documented.

    Jeter squandered some major opportunities.

He's stunk in the postseason for the last 3 years, they have a name for that and I thought I'd never use it on Jeter but they call that overrated.

So batting .500 with a .938 SLG was bad last season?

    And .333 the season before?

Yes they lost both series, but he hasn't stunk the last 2 seasons.

Now, this series...Clearly a bad series, as a matter of fact, this may be his worst series since 2001 World Series?

Jeter is hurtin (injured) more than he'll let anyone know. He has been hurt for the majority of the second half, but the Yankees couldn't afford to sit him and he wouldn't of sat out games.

Jokes on you, Reyes wouldn't have hit into a DP, he would've popped out.

I'll give you that...sort of. He wasn't really in any clutch situations in this series, so didn't have a chance to show that he is the clutch player of old.

...but he still sucked this series. He had a good season statisically, but that doesn't matter at all without a championship.

Jeter hit .500 against the Tigers and .333 against the Angels. What are you talking about?

Overrated or not, that's a pretty idiotic statement. Who would want to build around a 35 year old shortstop?

the top four are Yankees and Mets. Suspicious? Yeah. None of those four would be my first choice to build a team around.

What's weird is that there's a New York bias among players. Nice.
