Cole drafted, Giambi walk-off, great day so far with the rest of the first day of the draft to go.

Did I make a prediction? Those of us who follow the draft like Cole as a prospect. We're excited. Deal with it.

Holy shit. I leave work with the Yankees down at the end of the 7th. I get off the train, check my phone for the final score, and see they won!

This team causes me far too much stress.

Really, this is what you took a half hour to come up with?

Come on jonny. We know you're not good at many things, but you obviously won the funniest poster award for having some semblance of humor.

Regardless of when he makes it to the majors, I prefer to follow him in the minors, anyway.

unreal game today.. i was at work, talking to my friend watching the game on tv.. this was the best game ever that i had the play by play for.. unreal.. so many ups and downs.. the pitching is bad, but sneaking out a win with bad pitching is great.. giambi has been awesome this year.. damon is unreal.. arod had a huge ninth inning hit.. even matsui continuing his hit streak was awesome.. the whole game.. im watching the replay now.. yankees baby.. big win

Stunning to see Giambalco do this with an 0-2 count and 2 outs...Ryan threw it directly over the plate. Great win. Now can we go above .500?

I almost posted that story yesterday. It actually broke on MLB.com before yesterday's game. I figured you'd see it soon enough, why ruin your afternoon.

I don't really agree, but we have totally opposite opinions on the job he's done.

I wouldn't give him a very long-term extension though. I'd give him probably 3 years. That's enough time to determine whether the recent "youth movement" moves (or lack thereof) have started to pan out.
