I can give you the details likely later today when I see the paperwork, but I was in fact in the 1200s when I received my update from the Jets a few months ago, and I am now being offered tickets from the Jets. I am wondering how abnormal this is. I did see a post somewhere on this site a few months back saying people that high on the list might get offered tickets this year. So maybe this is normal?
It sure seems that way, as I also moved up over 500 spots in the last couple of months. It could also just be that the economy is that bad and people are strapped for cash and are spending it on other things. It's certainly possible.
Well whatever the reasons it certainly seems to be that a turnover of NYJ season tix holders has begun
I wonder if the parking pass situation from last year also contributed. I know I was put off by how that went down (I was told I'd have to prepay for parking after I sent in my season ticket money, wasn't given details about sat lots until some time later, etc, etc). Maybe others were mad about that, too. And of course 4-12 doesn't help Plus they were pretty hopeless for stretches last season... But this is our year, baby!!!
Sorry about the karma thingy. Without having dominating players 8,9 or any number will not get the job done.
The Super Bowl team was actually the 1968 season, but you probably didn't become a fan until January of 1969.
I would have to say you get a D-------------------------------------- in reading since several times in this thread I posted that I became a season tix holder in 65 which last I looked is 4 years prior to winning to SB 3. In case you forgot the NYJs won SB3 on 01/12/69 not 68. However, they did win both the AFLE & AFL Championship in 68 for whatever that means. Last I looked we were also losers in 78, 88 & 98 right? In fact since 01/13/69 till now we have been losers right?
Sure we did since we have not won the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP since 01/12/69 right? That means we have been LOSERs ever since. If you are not WORLD CHAMPIONs then you are losers. Simple as that
Count up the games this year and predict the wins and losses...it would be hard for the Jets to finish worse than 9-7.
So when you cannot come up with an answer you go back to your old reliable bashing somebody who is posting FACTs like we have been losers for 39 odd years now or that the NYJs since there inception are still a under 500 team as we talk today or that up today they have NEVER won a AFC Championship. Do you agree with those statements?
Well going to jail would be tough to take after you kill someone. For sure it would dilute the SB win but yes it would be terrific if it occurred. So would playing the AFC Championship game at home. IMHO while it is early I do not forsee us reaching either of those goals this year
