I never said any of this, nice to know the clown can make up it's own skits.

The fact remains going into his 3rd year he has not been handed the job over the guy with the "girlie" arm.

Winning is nice but a Fat contract is nicer. You think these guys hurt for months like they did in the old days after a loss. They want to win but they want their guaranteed 50 Million more. If they had to choose between sacrificing for the team or that fat contract what would they do?

And what does that have to do with the coaches going with the worse QB of the two, not to ruffle feathers.

Here is a block buster, the more they win the more money they can make.

And the fact also remains that this will be his first real chance to win the starting job over fag arm. The fact that it's his 3rd season is irrelevant (see previous posts).

OK but why does he have to beat out "Ole fag arm"???

He is obviously so much better, why is there even a question or a chance he might not start???

Here is a blockbuster, The Jets were 4-12 and went out and spent 140 Million dollars. You think that record and money spent add up to your theory. They even guaranteed the last two years of Coles contract and he is one hit away from a bib for the rest of his life now. Way to reward 4-12!

Wow it's obvious a few things went straight over your head here, but OK.

So did that 140 Million go to guys on a 4 and 12 team???

Coles only got what they were already willing to pay him, nothing more.

Do you think some of that 140 mil could have gone to the guys already here if they were not 4 and 12??? :eek:hmy:

What does any of what you said in you last 2 posts, have anything to do with the coaches not going with who they deemed the better QB? (for the second time)

It was you that said they did not put the best team possible out on the field, so they would not ruffle any feathers and win respect despite losing right?

Why would they be after last season?

My money is on Chad choking under the pressure of a serious competition with Clemens and Clemens coming away with the starting job. Last time he had a competition it was against Patrick freakin Ramsey who seems to have some mental issues. That was a cake walk. If Clemens can even keep the competition close, he will probably win.

That's just my guess though. If Pennington does win we're at least 2 more years away from being real competitors IMO.

So you're basing your entire opinion of his career on one game---one he played with a torn rotator cuff, on the road against a 15-1 team, and still lined up for two game winning kicks. Sound judgement.

That's a pretty weak rationale. Credit where it's due, we're still the last team to beat the Pats in Foxboro, which discredits the argument that he can't "step up against the good teams."

I agree with all of this, and that is all I was getting at.

Since Chad's Torn rotator cuff in 04 was repaired Chad has 2 wins against teams with a winning record that game in NE and against Miami in 05. He has been awful against good teams including 06 when we were shut out twice for the first time I can remeber. Chad was very up and down in 06 and mostly good enough against some very bad teams. His only win last year came against the worst team in football. There isn't a lot of credit due.

To Chad's credit, it's not his fault, the arm simple isn't there.

Yeah, and David Tyree caught a ball in the Super Bowl off of his head. Sometimes, things just go your way and sometimes luck happens.

That being said, that was when Reche "I look surprised" Caldwell was their best receiver, and Corey Dillon was 30 something. We only scored 17 it's not like we lit it up against a good D.

They were still a good team, their running back and receivers have nothing to do with their defense, which also factor in to only scoring 17.

Bottom line is there is no reason for Clemens not to win the job this season, if he does not well then I'd have to believe he was really no good to lose to a "girl arm,"

If he starts and we are terrible all of this BS back and forth was for nothing, I hope he can make something happen.
