Add Leon Washington, too. Kellen Clemens should be at the top of the list.

Are you fuckers trying to jinx the team. Erase this thread. I have that hit in the gut feeling like when i saw Vinny go down.

Seriously...we need the whole team healthy...especially the QB's.

Pennington, this team will go as far as the better qb takes them.

That ought to get a response.....

    1)Alan Faneca-self explainatory i feel

2)Darelle Revis- Only legit corner on the team. Unless we became some devastating pass rush team if he goes down were fucked in pass coverage.

3)Kris Jenkins- If he goes down Pouha and who rotates?
4)David Harris-Self explainatory could be anywhere from 2-3 actually.
5)Vernon Gholston- Nothing is acceptable about a the 6th overall pick getting injured his rookie year.

You have got to be kidding. Right?

Pennington last year went out by coaching decision and the team won three times as many games. How is HE an essential player?

He is essential I suppose if you root more for him than the team, and there are plenty of Chad Fans who fit that description. Otherwise...

Ftr, I think an argument can certainly be made that Mangold has to be one of the top three or four players the Jets cannot do well without. I know he went out for a couple of plays last year, but can't remember who his backup is. Given the generally poor state of the OL bench, though, if he went out for an extended period, there would go the OL despite the upgrades this off season.

Lats year his backup was Wade Smith, who is no longer on the team. This year I think his backup is Damien Woody, who is probably going to be playing RT. Our depth on the O-line blows. I hope someone decent gets cut on June 1 so we can address that.

    1. Mangold
    2. D'Brick
    3. Faneca
    4. Jenkins
    5. Revis

Obviously offensive line depth is the major issue as far as injuries go. I happen to think Sione Pouha could fill in nicely at NT, but we would have no one else inside. At cornerback, I worry if Revis goes down. I also worry if either Coles or Cotchery goes down, but the good thing about those 2 positions is that Chansi Stuckey, Justin Miller, Brad Smith, Drew Coleman, and a few others have ability to step in. Kerry Rhodes is another possibility.

Brandon Moore- we need an anchor on the right side of the line
Eric Barton- you know why Harris looked so good last year? All Eric Barton
David Barrett- if not him, who is going to fill in next to Revis?
Erik Ainge-If he gets hurt, who will carry the clipboard?
CJ Mosely-If Jenkins goes down and then Pouha gets hurt, we need this guy

We could actually use Barton and Moore but the last three are classic.

I have a feeling Keller is going to be a playmaker similar to Coles.
