Again, it doesn't count until there's a pic of you holding a TGG sign next to some notable building in your neck of the woods. Until then, you're just someone posting pics of Scandanavian women.
Hahahaha, all kelly has to do is post a bunch of ripped-off myspace photos and people believe it. BTW, Prisco is a jackass.
I have a print screen picture on my computer from these rankings last year and you guys want some confidence right about now? Last year the team going into the season ranked 32nd: The Browns.
Wow, I am so excited. I am gonna party like its 1994!!!! Seriously, we know more about our team then these guys. I don't care what the national media has to say about my Jets. No shit, the QB position is a question mark
Very good. They were 4-12 team, and 29th seems just about where they should be now. I'd take flying under the radar then surprise the hell out of everybody, than all the ballyhoo with nothing to show any day of the week - and twice on Sundays, now that football is coming up!
Jets History re: Expectorations Before the Jets went 1-15 under Rich Kotite many, and I mean MANY, of the NFL's professional prognosticators (notably Steve Serby, aka "Mr. Loser," affectionately tabbed for his bad NFL picks) had them winning the Super Bowl in the preseason. The last year Bill Parcells coached the team, right before Vinnie tore his Achilles during the first game, they were the consensus pick for the Super Bowl. The last year Herm Edwards coached the team, before the season started (and the starting QB and the backup went down for the season within a few plays), the Jets were considered to be very strong playoff contenders, according to all the pundits. On the other hand, I remember that Parcells was a miracle worker when he got the Jets close to the playoffs in his first year coaching the team, since no one thought they'd be any good beforehand. No one thought Herm Edwards could duplicate the coaching job Tuna did with the team, but he got them into the playoffs until the injuries took over. When Mangini took over the reins, every week during his first season no "experts" marked them as a playoff contender. Etc. It does seem like every year the Jets are expected to do well they don't, and it's often vice versa. So I am gonna worry when the preseason prognosticators mark the Jets as a favorite in the AFC East. That's when I know that the QB will get hurt, the first-team wide receivers go down, the OL injuries mount, first team CBs get hamstrung, DEs get hurt and the defense breaks down.
Thread hijacking in internet forum communication is the act of steering a discussion off-topic by discussing a subject entirely unrelated to the subject at hand. While this can be an intentional act of trolling, it is often accidental - caused by participants in the discussion responding to a throwaway remark, thus taking the thread off at a tangent to the original subject matter. The results often provoke a feeling of resentment from the author of the original post. Anyone notice a sudden shift in topic of discussion entirely unrelated to the subject originally posted by the author. Originally I thought maybe it was the author herself, but no that can't be. Then I thought KOZ. No, that's not it. Then it hit me, after further review it was none other than rmagedon6. Our in house Quagmire. Nice job sir. lol And to legitimize my post all I have to say is I rather see the JETS as the underdog they always were. That is my comfort zone. :jets:
Haha! I like to think my tangents stay somewhat on the topic. Although, I do admit this one was a little of a stretch. I just didn't deem it of any value to start a "Does anybody else here think Kelly is hot?" thread. So, I just thought I'd present my question in a new thread I knew she'd re-visit soon. Here's a great example of how my tangents stay in a relatively somewhat way to the topic. http://forums.theganggreen.com/showpost.php?p=847353&postcount=57 It originated in jonnyd's "As long as they're healthy right?" thread and I thought it was a legitimate question.
