Green Guy was without question my favorite poster. All I ever knew of him was that he had a great avatar and an extremely crisp mind. But he was brilliant. This is a terrible loss. RIP Green Guy. You will be missed.
Green Guy RIP. Condolences and prayers go out to the family. I haven't been around that long, was Green Guy the man with the tick for his avatar?
it might be hard to pass around a card, but instead of that, maybe we can create a thread, sort of a memory book, and all sign it, and then send it to LV Coach? Ive been a member since 2003, and my posting hasnt been as much as in the past, but i remember him from the old days here. I hope somethin can be done for LV Coach.
I`m in Shock...because i have so much time to don`t post here. Honestly Green Guy was a great poster...i really enjoyed his posts !!!! Rest In Peace Friend...i hope see you soon. My Condolences to family and friends.
Wow I'm absolutely shocked, his dad LV Coach was the one that turned me onto this board. I'm just completely shocked and feel terrible for his mom and dad because I know what nice people they are. I've been through a similar experience and I know life will never be the same for his family. Even though I never met him I know alot of him because we both went into the same career field except he went to Syracuse and I went to school in Vegas. I also know that he lived in North Carolina at some point but I'm not sure where he lived at the present. I don't even know if he had kids or a wife although I vaguely remember his mom telling me about grandkids. The thoughts and prayers of my family are with you Coach.....
Im at a loss for words. Green Guy was a great poster, and its always hard to hear such terrible news like this. Forty-four is much too young to go, I just hope he went peacefully and without much pain. My condolences to his family, and may he rest in peace.... TGG, never take life for granted, because you never know when your time here will be up.
Wow. I only saw this thread now, and am completely shocked. 44 years is far too short a time to spend here. Prayers to his familiy. It must be very tough over there right now.
Very sad to hear about Green Guy, he was an excellent, knowledgable, fair poster. As a fellow oldtimer we saw eye to eye on many subjects, especially recollecting the older days...44 is way too young...Rest In Peace...GG....
Been away for a few days and just heard. I'm so sorry to hear of your loss LV. Our thoughts go out to the entire family.
i was thinking of something else. i wonder if there is any way that we could get his name up on the board at one of the home games next year? once again i have no idea how it would happen but im just thinking out loud.
Rest in Peace my friend... your insight will be missed here, and your presense will be missed at home. I will miss the Banter. I am terribly sad hearing this... He and I came to the board at about the same time. LV Coach, my heartfelt condolences go out to you and your family. 44 is way to young to leave. Ellis-92
I have known LVCoach for many years here in Las Vegas. I never had the honor of meeting greenguy although we posted on the same topic many times from different points of view. He will be missed by all.
