In his first interview since the Super Bowl loss to the Giants, Pats QB Tom Brady took a playful poke at the Jets yesterday while appearing on Sports Radion 850 WEEI in Boston. It started with a reflection about the Super Bowl. ?It was really a great game,? Brady said. ?I wish we would?ve played better at certain times, but [the Giants] made the plays and they deserved it. And I have a lot of respect for that team because they work hard, and they have a lot of great leaders on that team. It?s kind of a blue-collar team. When you do lose a game, you at least want to lose to guys you respect. And I certainly respect those guys. I don?t respect everybody, but I do respect the Giants.? The host asked him to name a team he doesn?t respect. ?There?s four letters in their name,? Brady replied. ?Those green guys?? the host asked. ?Yeah, exactly,? Gisele Bundchen?s boyfriend said.

I suppose if we beat Brady for the third time next year he might develop a small sense of respect for us. I kind of doubt it though, he's 12-2 lifetime against the Jets and that kind of dominance breeds contempt.

Personally, I don't care at all if Brady respects us, but our boys should and this is going to make great locker room material. I hope Jenkins' fat ass drives his head straight into the ground on every play.

I have questioned Brady's class for a while. There is no question he is a great competitor and a winner but some of the things he says (like in this case) and does (taunt opposing players like in the Philly game) raise some flags in my mind. I've heard people comapre him to Jeter, and at least to me, Jeter carries himself much better than Brady.
With all due respect to your opinion .. We don't know these players.. We don't know what type of people these players are .. We might think we do, but in reality we have no clue .. Everyone has a dark side ..
Its funny how brady talks about respect when his team is the one exposed for years of cheating. Whats next, jason taylor is going to call out the jets for not being manly enough. I have about as much respect for tom brady as I have for any other deadbeat dad.
He talks a lot of shit for a guy who didn?t say anything, for three months, because he got the beating of his life. Oh, and who cares who that Cheater respects.
