I was at the game tonight. Cold, windy, miserable. Sosa needs to get DFA'd when Wise comes back and someone else needs to step up for the 5th starters spot because Figueroa hasn't pitched well since his first 2 starts.

sosa was good for about 10 games last year. im tired of minaya thinking his magic works more than once with certain players.

Ultimately I don't care about most of this kind of crap (and Figueroa should pitch better before he opens his mouth), but Milledge really does seem to have some personality problems he needs to work on. You have to be a lot better player than he is to get away with being such a jackass. Remember Gregg Jefferies?

luckily it's only some scrub that isn't going to be on the team too much longer whining about this, otherwise it would be pretty stupid with all the nonsense surrounding Reyes and his celebrations.

Figueroa and Sosa DFA'd, Pagan to the DL, Wise, Tatis, and Vargas activated via WFAN.

These are the right moves. Figueroa was a nice story, but he's not fooling anyone anymore and Sosa's been terrible for a while now. I still like Wise, Tatis can potentially be a big bat off the bench, and apparently Vargas' mediocre numbers are just due to his rough first outing in AAA; he's been good otherwise.

Good to see them do the right thing and keep our second best reliever (Smith) on the roster as well.
