pack just released him... no way we should take a chance on him right?

Who do you think that Koren Robinson is better than among our first three starting receivers (take your pick)?

I rather take a chance on Chris Henry theres more upside then Robinson Henry 6'4 190 think he can be a number one on our team. The only problem with him he cant stay out of trouble.

He is a talented player with some serious character issues but he is an upgrade over any 3rd string receiver on our squad. I would take a chance on him with a very strict incentive filled contract.

Yeah, Chris Henry says he's a good guy and his 18" single spaced rap sheet is "just a bunch of little things."

He doesn't seem to get it. Perhaps Goodell will take the choice out of his hands.

I think he'd definitely be better than whoever we're planning at putting at the #3 wr right now. With all of his off the field issues, I wouldn't offer him more than a vets min with incentive bonuses though.

Does every free agent deserve a thread?

Our receiving corps behind Coles and Cotch is thin. Coles' injury history is starting to pile up too. If we can pick up a talented (former top 10 pick) WR on the cheap, why not?

I hear what you're saying but WR is definitely an area we could improve upon.

Too true.. everytime i read someone has been dropped i know right away there will be a thread on them.

That being said Robinson isnt worth a contract. He hasnt done anything worth noting in the past few years. With stuckey smith and now henry we dont need to take a chance on a player like this guy...

I say we sign my boy Eric Crouch. He can play safety, receiver, and option QB.

Robinson has had many different chances with several different things. At this point, I can't see him being better than anyone we have.

Chris Henry, on the other hand, might actually be worth the risk. He actually has talent. I don't think the Jets would ever sign him, but Henry's big, fast, and talented.

I would love to see us sign Henry, despite all the off-the-field troubles. The guy is young and has the potential to be a top-5 WR. If he gets himself into trouble again, we could just release him like the Bengals did--no harm done, because he would probably have a very small contract.
