Woohoo Nate Garner ladies and gentlemen!!

Hopefully this year with this O-line out late round O-line pick isn't a potential starter.

Is it too early to call this guy the greatest o-lineman ever to play the game?

    I don't think it is.

good to see OL depth addressed, now just pick up Ryan Poles after the draft and I think we're solid at OL for the time being

I love how this guy wasn't even listed on the ESPN draft tracker for top 10 OTs left availible....

2nd straight year Mangini has found a lineman no one has ever heard of...

Hopefully we will never have to evaluate him on the field.

Well if he was paving the way for Mcfadden and Felix Jones, he can't be all that bad can he? solid depth. And I love the BC fan over there calling out for Ryan Poles that i just mentioned to him a few mins back in the draft thread.... seriously what do you know about the guys ability?

Gentlemen, this guy was a primary blocker opening those gigantic holes for Mr. McFadden and Mr. Jones the last couple of years..!

Quote: "...Named 2007 All-SEC Second Team SEC was Week 12 Offensive Lineman of the Week in the SEC ,Garner racked up a team-high and career-best 18 knockdowns on 62 snaps in Arkansas' 45-31 win against Mississippi State. His 18 knockdowns are a season-high for any UA lineman..."

    Eighteen knockdowns....!

No one ever heard of him? I think Darren McFadden heard of him since he was Arkansas starting RT this year and opened holes for Felix Jones and McFadden.

You act like anyone knows what that stat means, and whether 18 is a lot or not....

Nobody keeps track of "knockdowns" or "pancakes" and there is no clear definition of what constitutes a knock down...

I am happy that we drafted OL depth, but putting "Eighteen Knockdowns....!" like it's at all significant to anything is just idiotic...

Yeh I agree, and if this guy was any good why would he last until the 7th round.

  15. So basically teams shouldnt even bother drafting anyone in the 7th round?

    You gotta be kidding me...

"Boo hoo, I never heard of this guy, therefore he must suck..."

WTF kind of logic do the whiners here even use?

Of course your right, because there have never been solid late round tackles drafted in the NFL. Oh wait, arn't Green Bay's all pro tackles 6th round or later picks? oh wait, isn't more than 20% of the NFL made up of Undrafted Free Agents? oh wait, didn't i already know fans don't know anything about scouting...yes i did, sorry for wasting my time responding...

Yeah, because there have never been any good 7th round picks or UDFAs before....

It's not like Marques Colston was picked in the 7th round or anything...

And Ahmad Bradshaw wasn't picked in the 7th round.

And it's not like Tom Brady wasn't a couple picks away from the 7th round right?

18 pancakes is a lot....his initial step knocked over the opposing player...thats sounds like a pretty nice stat....pancakes are a linemen's touchdown lol
