Seahawks draft a longsnapper hmy::rofl: Can you imagine this place if the Jets drafted a longsnapper?
well hiker, not all teams are blessed with the LS skill of James Dearth! why one earth would the browns trade up in the 6th round?
the browns quietly having a nice (short) draft getting Rubin in the 6th. Beau Bell and the TE in the 4th that i cant even remember at the moment, and they have another 6th round pick here...
I saw this guy play. He's a CB and he can get the ball. Yeah, it's Harvard and he's small but he'd be a good FA selection: I can't post the link but Steven Williams, Harvard,
chargers just made a nice pickup with Tribble from BC, Was talked about potential 1st-2nd before he got hurt. Regressed alot toward the end of the year after getting back from his injury but was a stud for us the first half before he went down
BTW, potential FA that i would love to see is my boy Silva (yea, the BC bias), he is a poor man's Jon Lynch. I would even draft him with our 7th And while i'm still on the topic of BC, Dunbar would be a more realistic pick at ILB with our 7th
who knows anymore right? but 55, what do you know about a BC gaurd Ryan Poles (at least i think that is his last name) He is apparently great friends with Matt Ryan. He is eligible for the draft, but unfortunately he blew his ACL early on in the season, and probably will go undrafted at this point, but he is looking to make an NFL squad none the less. Since I met him over the past week, I am rooting hard for the kid, but have no clue about his playing ability pre-injury...
I posted in your other thread, but that probably got buried under all the draft threads. I would definitely bring him in as a FA, not a draft pick though. Very solid player, nothing flashy (if OL can even be flashy?) but very solid. Devastating injury about halfway through the year that killed any chance of getting drafted earlier but would be a great depth signing and could potentially crack the starting lineup if he recovers 100%. If i was the CS i'd jump all over him. Very high character kid too, safe bet going with a "BC guy"
Here's some guys that we should look at: Chauncey Washington RB Cory Boyd RB Kirk Barton OT William Robinson OT Brandon Keith OL Shannon Boatman OL Demetrius Bell OL Kerry Brown OL Drew Radovich OL Bryan Mattisson DE Marcus Dixon DE Keilen Dykes DE Erin Henderson ILB J Lehman ILB Jameel McClain ILB Roderick Johnson ILB Ali Highsmith ILB Darrell Robertson OLB/DE Vince Redd OLB/DE Curtis Johnson OLB/DE Josh Barrett S David Roach S
Just out of curiosity, how is Adarius Bowman still available? Like two or three weeks ago wasn't there talk about him being the best WR out there?? I'd take a chance on him if he's that good, but I would still prefer Erin Henderson.
The 4.7 40-time, his case of the drops and his pot possession... If anything we were talking about him going undrafted about 2 or 3 weeks ago..
Ha maybe by 2 or 3 weeks ago, I really mean longer. It seemed like 2 or 3 weeks ago though. I guess it was pre-combine. Draft him make him sign a contract for $1000 of pot per year and be done with it.
Let's take Caleb Campbell...if nothing else the Jets will get good publicity for the first time in their history.
ha ha I like that thought Don. Honestly I am betting we either go safety at 211, or we go ILB. the 2 safeties i see are Campbell and Barret, and the ILB's are Mcclain and Henderson.
