Looks like he really broke out that senior year...... looks like a very productive player though and has good size at 6-4 210
Seems to disappear in big games...Stats are misleading as he gained much of his yardage (and average) against weak opponents...
This guy had a great senior year, with him and Stuckey I think our receivers are now very well rounded. Henry is going to be a great red zone threat. Through in Dustin Keller who is going to be a rockstar and our offense is now pretty sick. I am loving this draft.
Kiper and the rest of the boys on ESPN loved this pick! specifically went out of the way to talk about this guy...who knows, diamond in the rough???
Analysis Positives: NFL height with potential to add a bit more weight. ... Very long arms, which he uses to keep his defender at bay. ... Smooth runner with good enough body control to make plays in traffic and stay in bounds down the sideline. ... Very willing and able to make tough catches over the middle. ... A potential chains-mover. http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles/marcus-henry?id=1026 Negatives: Lanky, lacking great upper body strength. ... A lack of speed and suddenness means he does not create separation easily, which may limit big-play ability in the pros. ... Will gather when running a route, making it easy for corners to jump. ... Relies on body catches as his hands are only average. ... Will be characterized by some as an overachieving one-year wonder playing against really poor Big 12 defenses. ... Needs to work on using his size to sustain his downfield blocking. ... Wouldn't provide much on special teams.
