Eh, not crazy over it... Gholston would be good and Doucet as well. I don't know why people are down on him. He's a great prospect and has all the tools to be an NFL starter. I definately don't like the rest. Frank Okam is a boom or bust and we have ZERO need for a NT with the acquisition of Kris Jenkins and emergence of Sione Pouha for depth. Plus D-Rob isn't gone YET. I'm also not a fan of the Martin Rucker or Colt Brennan pick.
I agree with you about Doucet. I'm not sure why everyone is down on him. I would love it if we were able to get him in the 2nd. I do like Martin Rucker though.
I absolutely hate Brennan. If Okam could lose some weight I could see him in the DE rotation. It's iffy but okay. I like Doucet there if Hardy and Sweed are gone.
I would NOT be ok with that draft. We don't need another TE, or Colt Brennan. Okam wouldn't be bad if he could move to end.
this draft stinks. i like gholston, but not at 6. a couple of months ago i figured he'd be an early 2nd round sort of guy. in that case, he'd have been a fantastic pick, but at the top of round 1?! people have lost their minds. could they have come up with a less dynamic WR than doucet? he's the exact same player we already have TWICE in coles and cotchery. i don't want a TE at all. okam could develop into a nice DL, i suppose.
