So what Joe is saying here is that to be successful, Pelfrey needs to throw high sinkers. Sure thing, buddy.

Defensive swings don't mean he's overpowering them if they can foul everything off. It means Pelfrey can't fool them and his only chance is to blow it past them.

There's no such thing as a rising fastball, Joe. Or have we moved on from not believing in sabermetrics to not believing in physics?

We really need to hit one of these fastballs that Eaton's grooving down the pipe at some point.

No better time for Beltran to wake up then now.

Edit: Thank you Carlos. Good piece of hitting there.

Crap of the order coming up now though.

This doesn't seem like the Mets.

But hey, if it is the Mets, the Phillies shitty bullpen will shut us down and Delgado won't do shit here.

Smart steal by Beltran there. Hopefully Church can get him home.

Tie game! Beltran basically creates a run himself!

I'm liking Church more every passing game.

Willie suddenly looks like a savant for switching Church and Castillo for the sake of lineup balance.

I wonder how much money Burrell is going to be looking at this offseason. It would be like having Alou, but with the ability to actually make 600 plate appearances a year.
