Wow. The two slowest guys on the team both take 3 bases on Manny.

It's going to be an insane year for the Yankees/Red Sox matchups.

    Seriously. This is insane.

While both teams are offensive powerhouses, this is more a story of some poor pitching tonight, on both sides.

its more an example of garbage baseball, lets be honest. its absurd. Its especially absurd when you put this circus in fenway. I for one am completely sick of yankees/red sox. every five minutes theyre playing eachother and every game is 4 hours long....the whole routine is fucking tiresome.

Are you insane? This is what the rivalry is all about.

Only if you like good pitching matchups.

I think Youkilis broke his toe. (I think he actually said it's broken to Moeller and the ump.)

I don't know, I like Yankees/Sox in October and even during the summer and late regular season. But these epic games are now happening in April. It used to be normal games early in the season and the close, epic match ups as the season progresses. It's making this rivalry a little stale.

I don't know guys. Normally, I'm big on tight pitching matchups. I'll take a perfect game over a football score any day. Except when it's Yankees/Red Sox. These are probably the two most stacked lineups in the sport. In 19 chances, plus postseason games, the core hitters are going to know every single pitch coming. The best hitters, when they know what's coming, are going to hit well more times than not.

Great pitching is for every other series. Yankees/Red Sox is for 25-23 finishes.
