This post is taken from another site, but its genius needs to be displayed here:

"Robbie is great at pinch-hitting in the 8th inning. We need to take him out of the regular line-up and use him as our official late-game pinch hitter. IF HE DOESN'T DO IT, WHO WILL??"

And yes, he was being sarcastic.

Holy shit. I turned on wrestling when the score was 7-2. WTF happened? Now I see Mo in, and a one run lead. Reading the thread, Bruney collapsed? Cano saved the Yankees?

    It's the EFFING RAYS.

This was an unnecessarily close game.

You can say that about (some of) their pitching. But you can't say that about their lineup.

Honestly, with Crawford, Upton, Pena, and Longoria, their starting lineup tonight was just as good (if not better) than the Yanks.

    The Rays are no joke.

Blowing a 7-1 lead is beyond unacceptable. Stunned that Bruney is the one who imploded, along with Traber.

Tough break for Kennedy since he was dealing against this lineup, and that's when the game changed, go figure.

    Luckily Cano bails them out.

Well, I guess I got my answer as to whether Bruney would be the setup man while Joba is out, he won't be anymore. Still makes you wonder if Chamberlain will ever be in the rotation this year.

Better right now. I think it would be crazy to say that their lineup is better than the Yanks' when both are playing to full potential.

Come on bro. I know you love Bruney, but the guy is always one bad pitch from a total disaster. He's better than Farnsworth, but that's like saying you'd rather be punched in the face than kicked in the nuts.

Still makes you wonder. But you're probably the only one not in the media that does, and I've already explained why the media says it.

For what its worth, you and Suzyn Waldman think exactly alike.

So you got that going for you. Which is nice.

One horrific outing doesn't doom Bruney in the pen any more than it does Hughes in the rotation.

I really like that Girardi let Bruney get out of it in the seventh, though, and then started him in the eighth.

Good start by Pettitte, all things considered.

And tonight he gives Farnsworth a chance. Honestly, whether you like certain guys or not, you have to admire the distinct difference between Girardi and Torre. Right now, neither Farnsworth or Bruney would be seeing action until at least the second week of May under Torre. Under Girardi though, they get another opportunity.

Would Farnsworth have had that shot if Joba was with the team? Who knows? One thing is for sure though, he took advantage of the opportunity tonight.

But again, when the hell is this offense going to get its act together? Two consecutive innings they leave the bases loaded. Come on. This is the RAYS!!!

Pettitte gave exactly what I expect of him these days. He gets himself into a bit of trouble, but toughs it out, and grinds out a winnable game.

Give Andy some run support, and he can win a lot of games.

Give me some credit. I have complimented his performances in his last two starts. Like I said, I still don't like him, but he's pitching pretty well lately, and deserves credit. You're absolutely right, give him a few runs, and he wins games.

Now WTF is wrong with ARod? He is obviously overworking. He was so relaxed and smooth last year, and now he comes in and struggles.

Can we just release Giambi already? For crying out loud, it's totally embarrassing that the second baseman, always playing short right field, is always in position to make a play on his "hits" without moving.

Go the other friggin' way damnit!

I'm thinking (and hoping) this is a joke, but my sarcasm detector seems to be broken today.

I've said that for awhile but this isn't the same Rays...

Once Carl Crawford gets swinging, this lineup is a helluva 2-6. Crawford-Pena-Upton-Longoria-Hinske.

Kazmir comes back I think in May and this team will be solid all year.
