No I got the point. I like the article because it could possibly turn the 5 teams ahead of us away from him. Gholston will be a great player in the NFL.

This is one prediction I hope you get right. Being that you are the one making the prediction doesn't make me feel all that confident in it becoming reality though. Gholston to the Raiders more than likely make McFadden to the Jets, I'll sign for that right now.

Gholston IMO is boom or bust, he is either going to be really good at the next level or really bad.

Oakland loves busts. I'm pretty sure they found one last year in Jamarcus Russell.

According to Raiderjoe, you're allowed to judge a player after one year.

Also, Fabian Washington is about 40 times better than Darrelle Revis.

You forgot Michael Huff is better than Kerry Rhodes due to the fact that he can cover TE's like glue.

Al Davis is still God and knows what he is doing.

Also, Their 3rd and 4th stringers could, if played enough, get a spot on the All-Decade team.

    Great article.

Kind of says something about the blindness of football fans doesn't it?

    Media: Mike Mamula sucks.

    Fans: Duuuuh...YEA he does suck!!!

I'd say fans have gotten alot smarter over the years though...

Your entitled to your opinion on Jamarcus Russell. All Im going to say Im glad raiders picked him at number 1.

NO according to raiderjoe, you can't judge a player off one year. You have to do it for more than half a season. (what I said)

Again F Washington rookie year he was alot more consistant in his coverage than revis. A fact. That why Im saying don't jump to conclusion too early about Revis. See J Vilma

Again Gholston coming to the raiders and I like his chances of being very sucessful. Reason being Raiders dlinecoach Keith Milliard, has done one of the best jobs developing speed rushers. Also Dosen't hurt to have one of the best Pass rushers Derrick Burgess , to lean on.

Also With Raiders secondary and their Coverage LBs, Gholston should be a very nice fit.
Mcfadden isn't helping you beat the patriots. A great pass rush was able to slow down that Patriots offense. Sorry pace and b Thomas is not even an average passrush.

    1. Jonathan Vilma was EXCELLENT in the 4-3. You cannot take that away from him.

    2. Fabian Washington sucks dick. You cannot take that away from him.

    3. Darrelle Revis wasn't drafted only because of speed.

    4. I'm glad the Raiders picked that fat piece of garbage too. It just means they'll suck for an even longer period of time.

Only you would call Derrick Burgess' old ass "one of the best pass rushers". He was effective. WAS.

He openly admits to not want to practice. Other New York Jets have come out to say the teams practices are extremely difficult. He will likely be a bust (or a cancer) on the Jets imo.

    1. He WAS excellent in the 4-3...

    2. Washington is their 4th CB...and he's about average...

    3. Truf. Question...whats your fetish for saying "you can't take that away from him?"

    4. I'd love Russell on our team...

    5. Burgess is all of 30 years old...he just had an 8 sack season and he's got like 35 in the past 3 years...TF?

raidertroll why do you continue to spew stuff that entices others into argument about a team that nobody really cares about?

    its:

    1) Something to do offseason.
    2) Hones argument skills. The more innate the BS becomes the harder it is to spin your point without sounding as nuts as the opponent. Try keeping you pace against a blathering fool.
    3) Something to do in the offseason.
    4) We must defend Revis as a #1 CB, because the planet knows he is. And Vilma was an awesome MLB for us in the 4-3, because the planet saw he was.

This kind of stuff keeps coming up about Gholston, but he has such great quickness off the line I wonder if he'd be better suited as a 3-4 OLB than a DE
