if this is true we will probably get their late 4th and their 6th. i would say late 5th and 6th but they mentioned between the 4 and 6th round. either way, 2 draft picked for drob is a steal at this point. i hope its true.
Right now, I'd settle for a conditional pick for next years draft based on how well he plays this season. If he exceeds expectations, we would be in position to get a very high (2nd Round?) draft choice. If not... At least we dumped his salary.
We're supposedly getting two late draft picks between rounds 4 and 6. Two picks for an overpaid, out of position slob is excellent. The more picks we have, the more bait we will have to move up in the later rounds if someone falls.
anything to get D-Robs fat, errrr contract off of our hands will make me happy. Ill take a 7th at this point.
All I have to say is I am glad I got to pick with Denver in the 7 round mock before this could happen. Great stuff though.
Drob will be back at his natural 4-3 DT position. He will be a very good player for the Broncos and the Jets free up $8 million. It is a win win for everybody.
H'mm I have been checking the Denver Post daily & unless this is a very, very super secret deal Robertson name has not popped up in there paper for days & days which leads me to believe that whereever this rumor started it is has no bases of fact behind it. Here is the link for anybody that desires to check it out themselves http://www.denverpost.com/broncos
i'd love to do that, the 2nd round has alot of talent. With two 2nd rounders we can get an offensive and defensive player. 36 get James Hardy, and say the 43rd with Cliff Avril, two guys who can contribute sooner than later.
if Tangini could pull this off it will easily become my 3rd favorite move off the offseason. It would follow the trade for Jenkins and the sacking of Bryant Gumble by the NFL Network.
if only we could package jones, chad, and drob to the bears for their 1st. oh wait, dumbway isn't their general manager.
i was dreaming gholston and flacco. with our luck, we won't get either, and not ryan or mendenhall.:shit:
champ i scrolled down and on the left hand side dated april 1 is the robertson article it says denver wants to give up a low round pick and the jets want 2 middle round picks shannahan says his knees are not a problem and they have the parameters for a contract in place -----if the deal will happen nobody knows but the trade has com up in denver newspapers
If everything is in place, I wonder why the trigger hasn't been pulled yet. Although next week is usually the week pre-draft deals take place.
