Id prefarably like to see the jets get atleast one offensive player in the first 2 rounds. But look at probably are top 3 offensive skill players om the roster .
But with those 2 picks are defense is basically set.

    Leon 4th Rounder
    Coles 3rd Rounder
    Cotch 4th Rounder
I think we can find some offense later with that D-Rob pick and our 2 4th rounders.

What's the point of putting Spanish in the thread's title?

In my opinion, Vernon Gholston and Dom Rodgers-Cromartie are the main BOOM or BUST players in this year's draft. They both are physical freaks at their position, but they both have HUGE bust potential.

Quick........I love both players, and would have no problem taking them.

I wonder if the Jets' Medical staff will clear both of them?????

If we let Gholston pass the Pats I amy throw something at the TV in that senario.

I doubt Groves falls that far as well, but if he's there its a good pick.

After the heart surgery Groves had earlier this month, his stock will drop. How Much?........IMO, expect him to be selected in early Rd 2.

His heart surgery was to fix heart palpitations, the surgery went well and he will never get heart palpitations for the rest of his life as a result, his stock shouldn't drop at all, his heart is perfectly fine

Anytime there is an issue of Health, no matter what the problem, it may scare some teams off, don't be so sure he doesn't fall into the top of Rd 2.

I don't think KC goes with Matt Ryan...

I would be surprised if we passed on Vernon Gholston for Cromartie. Why do you like Cromarite there over Gholston? I wouldn't be too mad, but more surprised..

I think Malcolm Kelly's 4.75 pro-day 40 puts him at the end of the 2nd at least.

I think Flacco goes ahead of Henne.

And that would be awesome if Groves lasted that long, but I just don't see it.

I think San Fran would go OLB in Groves before ILB there.

The rest is pretty good though...

I rather Cromartie because i think he has the most upside of anyone in the whole draft.Gholston to me is a workout warrior who dissapears in games sometimes.
The comparisons of Merriman and Ware have to stop, Ware is probably the top all-around lbs in the game and Merriman is the best pure pass-rusher he might a great situational rusher but an everydown player i dont see it.

No way that Ware is the best all-around linebacker in the game. He's a pass rusher that just happens to get his hands on the ball occassionally. He's great as what he does though. I'm pretty sure that Patrick Willis has already established himself as the best all-around linebacker by leading the league in tackles and getting a decent number of sacks as a rookie. Ware and Merriman are the same type of player: They are game changers because of their ability to rush from the edge and get to the QB. They aren't all-around guys, but they are the best at what they do: Sacking the quarterback.

You can't tell us to stop comparing Vernon Gholston to the NFL's stars when I know one of the main reasons you want Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie is because of his last name.

He played for a mediocre I-AA team at TSU...and he was mediocre on that team as a corner. He wasn't a dominant, scary player. He was just okay. Teams weren't afraid to throw at him. This is in I-AA! ...and he was more of a workout warrior than Gholston at the combine.

DRC had an outstanding Senior Bowl week and game...that's IT.

Rodgers-Cromartie doesn't have more upside than Darren McFadden, Chris Long, or Vernon Gholston. They WERE dominant at the highest level of college football.

In fact, he has the most bust potential out of anyone in this draft, because some team will take him incredibly too high and it will take him at least two seasons to evolve from a I-AA corner to an NFL corner. I don't care what he 40 time was, or what his measurables are: You can't take a I-AA player in the Top 10.
