That guy is really good, what round is he projected to be drafted in? Do you know why he was suspended?
The guy has the talent to be a 2-4th rounder but because of "character" concerns, he would be worth no more that a 7th rounder for us.
You need some bad ass players you just need to know how to tame them and make it just come out on the field. I would love him.

he seems very pacman-ish, but if he grows up- we have a monster that we can put anywhere on the line.... maybe Bryan Cox can help him out. His lack discipline will not be tolerated in Mangini's camp, he'd be chewed out real quick. To make him give a shit would make him an All-Pro.
I've actually met Jason Shirley...and I've seen him play in person many, many time at Fresno. GREAT PLAYER. HORRIBLE PERSON. You guys like to complain about McFadden having character concerns...let me tell you about Jason Shirley. The guy's a waste of talent. If he would've had a semi-decent head on his shoulders, he could've been a late first, early second round pick, but he never straightened himself out. He's lazy and stupid, especially in the classroom. He had academic issues as a freshman, and he had to sit out of spring ball...and throughout his college career, he had problems with drugs and alcohol. Pat Hill and Fresno staff gave him numerous chances to get his life on track after his first, and second drug related suspensions...and he didn't change a thing. About a month after getting off of his last suspension, Shirley was pulled for a DUI and cocaine was found in the car's center console. He's got some serious drug issues, and I would imagine he's extremely out of shape since he hasn't played football in nearly a year.
