If we then take Cromartie or trade down that scenario would not bother me at all. And with Dorsey there, it would be quite possible to trade down with Coincy or Carolina. I do not really want Gholston or McFadden, though I would be much happier with a Gholston pick. McFadden is going to bust, and we have a better RB already in Leon.

You know Clady isn't a bad pick at 6...a little high but he's a mauler...and would be for a long time...

It wouldnt be that bad you got a couple of the teams in the 9-15 range in need of a DT so one might be willing to trade over the others to get Dorsey or Ellis

That's the same thing the Dolphins keep saying when we bring up the fact that they can't beat the Jets. Loser talk.

I have no illusions about my team. You are completely delusional about yours. The only thing that makes your posts worth reading is the pathetic comedy of them.

You come here every off season and say the same thing about the Raiders roster. And every year you're wrong. What makes you think this year will be any different?

Definition of insanity - Doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result.

I don't know. But I can tell you it won't be forty more years before Raiders win another championship.

What the hell does that have to do with what I said? Going to the Jets record (as if it has anything to do with the Raiders) as your retort just proves my point.

I will give credence to the Raiders roster and the crap you spout when they make it back to the playoffs.

WOW... You really are a worse homer than the people here... talk about delusional. Try getting out of the basement of the NFL before you talk championships...

the best definition of your franchise would be total disarray... 3 straight Championships, now that's funny...

and who told you this, the crystal ball or the midget palm reader at the freak show...

You can never tell, they might make advances in science and keep Al Davis alive for 100 years and the Raiders could become the new Chicago Cubs.

Lets see why Raiders record will be diffrent this year. ONe due to injuries last year. What was the third ranked defense in 2006. Slipped alot last year in 2007. Now Raiders severly upgraded their shortcomming on defense this offseason. 1. Upgraded the CB position. NOw have two of the elite Cbs in the game. That means they can put another defender in the box. (help stop the run) 2. Sign Gibril Wilson - which should upgrade the tackling in secondary tremendously.(with hall another good tackler) Raiders have the best secondary in football, and with two of the best cover LBs (Morrison and Howard) , one of the best cover safeties in M Huff(Now playing his more natural FS) its going to be extremely tough to pass on the Raiders.

    You writing this all down.

NOw ON to offense , Raiders last year were the sixth best team rushing the football. It didn't matter who was at RB, Raiders were going to have sucess ruinning behind their oline.

You have a dominating defense + the abiltity to run the ball consistantly well = You are going to be close to a playoff team.

But raiders did improve the offense this offseason. They went out and got a number 1 WR Javon walker, who at 90% right now, and should be 100% by start of training camp. They added a Veteran speed threat Drew Carter 6'3 200 to stretch the field. The return to health of RB Michael Bush . Hes 100% healthy and running at full speed. Raiders expect him to have hugh impact on their offense. TOM Cable- who alex Gibbs mentor has another year to work on the offensiveline. Again the guys they brought in might not have the big name appeal but they are very good fits for his blocking scheme.

NOw The franchise QB- Jamarcus Russell will be starting from day ONe. The beautiful part is with Raiders consistant running game, he dosen't have to carry the offense(See BIG Ben)
Raiders still have a draft to get alot better.

Big Ben can carry an offense, did you see what he did last year??? The numbers were pretty impressive.

No the offense isn't 100% on his back, but the running game shouldn't take the credit away from how truly talented he is.

Swoosh------------ That was the point that you just missed. I was talking about BIG Ben first year. Steelers didn't need to rely on him. They relied on their defense and there running game. NOw after couple years(minus the Motorcycle accident) He is good enough to carry the offense. Nothing helps in young QBs development, than having a consistant running game.

A Little upgrade to D roberrtson. IF you think Glenn dorsey can play in 3-4 it would have to be at NT. One Problem ks you Just signed The guy from that show- the biggest loser. Kris Jenkiins. Dorsey dosen't have the height to play De in 3-4. Dorsey like W sapp is not a very good fit at DE in 3-4.

Jeaux, if the Raiders win another Super Bowl while Al Davis is still alive, I will keep his picture in my signature until the day he dies.
