Molden was a nice pick where you got him. I liked him more than the other CB / S you had taken earlier.
I couldn't get to a computer yesterday or I would have taken Marcus Monk to the Skins. I am in finals in university and had a final and a presentation Radovich is still a good pick and I was also looking at line, Monk is gonna be a good one but now because of his workout will be pushed into round 4
Any thoughts on Reynaud? I thought he would be higher rated than he is now. He had limited production at WVU but I think that speaks more to the scheme than to him as a player. I'm hoping for a Randle El type with that pick, i.e. more quick than fast and great in space. I actually thought hard about Marcus Monk and Marcus Dixon and them going the picks after mine makes me feel like I should have taken one of them and tried to nab Reynaud later.
Monk is gonna be a riser, I actually do not know much about Reynaud, he hasn't really been in the public eye, for good or bad.
Dixon I think is going to be a solid 3-4 DE. You never know this late in the draft but at least with the Cowboys he will have some time to develop. Surprised Jacob Hester lasted as long as he did. He doesn't do anything great but still should make a roster somewhere. I thought he was a typical Herm type player.
Ok, sorry for the delay on my Jets pick. Been quite a busy day. With my second to last Jets pick I went for Robert Felton, a guard from Arkansas. I did this for a few reasons: 1. Alan Faneca is NOT getting any younger. 2. Alan Faneca LOVES to teach younger guys. 3. Felton is excellent in the running game and spent his three years as a starter opening holes for Darren McFadden and Felix Jones. 4. Does not need to step into an immediate starting role but CAN if injuries happen. 5. He's a multi-purpose player who can play both guard positions. 6. He's massive. 7. Has played against top college teams throughout his career. So, when you get this late in the game you start clawing at the walls for players. Thankfully, this one fell into my lap. I have a good idea what to do with my 7th round pick for the Jets. You'll all have to stay tuned for that one. Comments and Discussion welcomed and encourage.
Baker...........I love the Cory Boyd selection. Boyd is such a well-rounded back.....does everything well.....Strong runner, Excellent receiver and blocker. I'd love for the Jets to consider him in Rd 6, as long as we don't address RB earlier. Local NJ product!!
Yeah I am very happy hes here at Round 6 as I didnt get to draft a RB yet for CHI who can use someone for that position. Benson's too hurt and Peterson is a 3rd RB so Boyd would have all the shots in the world to potentially take the RB spot for the Bears or at least be the backup RB and produce on 3rd down plays.
I think I got another steal with Tom Zbikowski in the 6th. He's a good fit for the Saints, who need safety depth and he could challenge Bullocks or Harper for a starting spot. NFLDC & ESPN have him ranked as their 5th (not including Reggie Smith) & 6th best safety, respectively.
