This time of year, Chad usually comes back to this area (Huntington/Marshall) to handle disbursements from his charitable foundation, 1st and 10 Foundation, with his wife Robin. Since 2006, he's given back $362,000 to this region for different projects. http://www.herald-dispatch.com/homepage/x1292007588
Waiting for a joke along the lines of that's all his arm is good for, passing out freebies :breakdance:
No..Chad is a good person who believes in giving back..He obviously puts his money where his mouth is..more then a lot of pro athletes who are always sprouting about "giving back to the community" and never write a check..I've heard Chad speak and he is an outstanding speaker and a true Christian in every sense of the word..Whether you like Chad as a QB is irrelevant,he is just a good dude..period.
No one questions the integrity or character of Chad Pennington. How can you not love him as a person? However that does not translate into Super Bowl appearances and never will.
Last time I checked, Chad didn't miss 2 field goals against Pittsburg. Still wouldn't have put them in the SB, just sayin'...
...you probably believe you are funny...but it just shows your immaturity and lack of intelligence...please go root for another team...it sickens me to know we root for the same team....
$362,000 is a lot of money in the context of Huntington, WVa. That money is probably making a real impact.
The Jets will make the playoffs with the next QB that starts a full season for them. Maybe not his first full season but shortly thereafter. The NFL is easy city these days for making the playoffs, as the Jets have showed us over the last 6 or 7 seasons. The hard part is getting past the teams that earned their way in and the Jets haven't managed to beat two of those since 1982. How sad is that? It's been 25 years since the Jets won two playoff games in the same season.
To all you Chad haters, remember this HE IS STILL THE BEST QB ON ARE TEAM......... give him a good offensive line and a decent running game so that ( play action) has a chance to work, pull your heads out your asses and watch him play. smart and accurate qb are IMO necessary to a winning team...
Chad would make a good boyfriend for my daughter, but not a good QB for her dads team. What is this post, the gay portion of "Inside The NFL" ? I put my head in my ass from watching him last year.... what? tell me he had Tommy surgery and he can throw again.... no? Oh well, anus hear I come.
Pennington donates $30,000 to West Virg. YMCA Saw this on the NFL Network's news update....he donated 30 grand to a YMCA so they could buy a bus to transport kids around. Apparently he and his wife have donated almost $400,000 to West Virginia charities through his 1st and 10 Foundation.
