Where are all of you Rutgers guys?

Kansas State didn't want Fresno to hand them a third straight loss, so they bought their way out of the game this year.

Fresno's opening game @ UCLA will be pushed back until September 27th, and the Bulldogs will visit Rutgers on Labor Day.

I am pumped up for this matchup because it only makes Fresno's schedule tougher. Pat Hill doesn't schedule cupcake teams like Hawaii and Boise State did the past two years. The 'dogs have Rutgers, Wisconsin, and UCLA 3 out of the first 4 weeks.

My Bulldogs look ready to make a BCS run with 18 returning starters, and a quarterback with BIG TIME Pro-Potential in Tommy Brandstater.

It should be a well-matched, hard fought game. I can't wait.

It'll be a very interesting game, no doubt. It's been speculated for a while that Rutgers was going to pick Fresno as their 12th game, I'm just glad it's all finally concrete.

The Knights moved around their schedule a bit to get this one as the opener, it should be a nationally televised game, leading into Tennessee UCLA later on Labor Day I believe. The other side of the deal is a RU visit to Fresno in 2012 I believe.

The game will be a lot closer than what I think the spread might say it is, because the Knights are going to have a lot of kinks to work out finding that new offensive identity. It'll come down to how Mike Teel and his weapons chemistry is after the offseason.

You think the spread will have Rutgers winning big? I could see this game turning into a shootout. High 30s, low 40s.

Fresno has been known to blow out teams when they come east. Those teams just don't have the same speed.

For Rutgers, it might come down to Mike Teel and his weapons, but they'll have to stop Tommy Brandstater, Marlon Moore, Bear Pascoe, and Ryan Mathews.

This is the perfect game for ESPN to televise: East vs. West.
