    ROUND 1
    1. Miami Dolphins: Chris Long DE/OLB-Unless something crazy happens the phins should choose Long over Matt Ryan. Long is probably the safest pick in the draft and its not like Ryan is Manning coming out of college. Long will be that rush SOLB to replace Taylor when he eventually leaves. Jake Long could be a possibility but they could choose a really good LT later.

    2. St. Louis Rams: Vernon Gholston DE- St. Louis really holds the key to what could happen in the draft as far as the top 10 goes. They could go in a number of ways OT, DT and a DE. OT is the number one priority but there are so many good OT’s in the draft I see the Rams passing on Jake Long. That Glenn Dorsey and Vernon Gholston depending on what truly is the best position for Adam Carriker could depend on who they pick. I see the edge going to Gholston for this reason they are eventually going to move to a 3-4 he would be the first sign of that coming. Dorsey wouldn’t fit in the 3-4.

    3. Atlanta Falcons: Jake Long OT- Jake Long is so much better than any other OT in this class. Atlanta needs a QB more than anything, the difference between Ryan and Brohm really isn’t that big like many people make out to be. They risk trying to get their QB later and will have to possibly move up in draft to get Brohm later. They have the fire power to do it so they will.

    4. Oakland Raiders: - Darren McFadden RB- All signs point to the Raiders choosing McFadden eliminating any possible hope for him at 6.Darren has had some off the field issues but those aren’t really that serious he will be the pick unless they trade out, and hopefully it isnt with us.

    5. Kansas City Chiefs: Glenn Dorsey DT – I think that KC needs an OT bad but unless they trade out the go value over need and choose Dorsey. Dorsey does have some injury concerns but he never has missed time. Matt Ryan could be a possibility but I think they give Croyle one more year.

    6. New York Jets NYJ: Dominique Rodgers Cromartie CB – Even if Gholston is available I still would pick Cromartie over him. Gholston is not a dynamic football player. Even before McShay said Gholston was overrated Ive always felt that way and wanted someone else with our pick. I hope to God that St. Louis chooses Gholston it would make a lot of sense due to their being so many quality OTs available as quality DEs available in the second round. Cromartie has so much more upside than probably anybody in this draft his only weakness is that he played against lower competition and he dismayed that at the Senior Bowl.

    7. New England Patriots (from SF): Leodis McKelvin CB- New England would usually trade in this position but the only ting they got is possibility of Ryan being chosen. Right now I don’t see anyone trying to help the pats out or try to get Ryan at this spot. Maybe the Bears or but they have too many other needs. With that they have a chose between McKelvin and Cromartie. McKelvin is the safer pick so I expect than to pick him.

    8. Baltimore Ravens: Matt Ryan- The QB of the future is chosen here. The Ravens might be tempted if Cromartie drops here but they shouldn’t expect Brohm to be there in round 2. I don’t really know why but Matt Ryan is considered to be the best QB in the draft. He doesn’t really wow u with his arm or accuracy but he does have great intangibles. Kind of reminds me of Eli Manning not really great at anything but has a great feel for the pocket and throws very well on the run.

    9. Cincinnati Bengals: Sedrick Ellis DT – The Bengals get that DT they have been desperately trying to get all offseason. Its a toss-up between Rivers and Ellis, I would choose Rivers because I think choosing DT’s high is too risky, but I think they go with Ellis. It could very well be Dorsey here too if he slides but Dorsey has been more consistent and have more upside. Ellis dominated the combine and if he isnt chosen here he’ll be chosen by New Orleans a pick later.

    10. New Orleans Saints: Keith Rivers OLB- With all of the linebackers the Saints have added they still need more help there. Vilma is solid in the middle and Morgan could play on the outside when healthy but they cant solely rely on Morgan panning out and being healthy from here on out. Rivers would be a perfect fit and would help that defense out tremendously.

    11. Buffalo Bills: Devin Thomas WR
    12. Denver Broncos: Ryan Clady OT
    13. Carolina Panthers: Jeff Otah OT
    14. Chicago Bears: Rashard Mendenhall RB
    15. Detroit Lions: Derrick Harvey DE
    16. Arizona Cardinals: Mike Jenkins CB
    17. Minnesota Vikings: Phillip Merling DE
    18. Houston Texans: Aqib Talib DB
    19. Philadelphia Eagles: Kenny Phillips S
    20. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: DeSean Jackson WR
    21. Washington Redskins: Quentin Groves DE
    22. Dallas Cowboys (from CLE): Limas Sweed WR
    23. Pittsburgh Steelers: Chris Williams OT
    24. Tennessee Titans: James Hardy WR
    25. Seattle Seahawks: Brandon Albert OG
    26. Jacksonville Jaguars: Kentwan Balmer DT
    27. San Diego Chargers: Gosder Cherilus OT
    28. Dallas Cowboys: - Jonathan Stewart RB
    29. San Francisco 49ers (from IND): Sam Baker OT
    30. Green Bay Packers: Brandon Flowers CB
    31. New York Giants: Dan Connor OLB

    ROUND 2
    32. Miami Dolphins: Carl Nicks OT
    33. St. Louis Rams: Anthony Collins OT
    34. Kansas City Chiefs: Antoine Cason CB
    35. Atlanta Falcons (from OAK): Brian Brohm QB

    36. New York Jets: Malcolm Kelly WR Oklahoma
The Jets will most likely pick up a tall WR in the second it will either be Kelly or Hardy depending on which one falls to us. Kelly has slipped a bit so that’s why I have him here but if Kelly goes in the first Hardy should be there for us in this spot. Dont rule out Manningham though he too is an option and to me is going to be the best receiver in the draft.

    37. Atlanta Falcons: Dre Moore DT
    38. Baltimore Ravens: Patrick Lee CB
    39. San Francisco 49ers: Mario Manningham WR
    40. New Orleans Saints: Reggie Smith DB
    41. Buffalo Bills: Lawrence Jackson DE
    42. Denver Broncos: Jerod Mayo MLB
    43. Carolina Panthers: Fred Davis TE
    44. Chicago Bears: Joe Flacco QB
    45. Detroit Lions: Pat Sims DT
    46. Cincinnati Bengals: Erin Henderson OLB
    47. Minnesota Vikings: Chad Henne QB
    48. Atlanta Falcons (from HOU): Tracy Porter CB
    49. Philadelphia Eagles: Andre Caldwell WR
    50. Arizona Cardinals: Felix Jones RB
    51. Washington Redskins: Jordy Nelson WR
    52. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Justin King CB
    53. Pittsburgh Steelers: Clicho Rachal OG
    54. Tennessee Titans: Trevor Laws DT
    55. Seattle Seahawks: Dustin Keller TE

TRADE (Jets trade 2009 2nd Round pick, 2008 4th Round pick to Green Bay for 2nd Round pick)

    56. New York Jets (from GB; CLE): Curtis Lofton ILB
As we did last year we traded up, this time around I think we should trade up again. Green Bay would be the perfect partners due to them not having many needs and them also having 2 2nd round picks. We trade here assuring us Lofton ahead of the Dolphins and the Patriots.

    57. Miami Dolphins: Early Doucet WR
    58. Jacksonville Jaguars: Calais Campbell DE
    59. Indianapolis Colts: Roy Schuening OG
    60. Green Bay Packers Martellus Bennett TE
    61. Dallas Cowboys: Charles Godfrey CB
    62. New England Patriots: Cliff Avril OLB
    63. New York Giants: Josh Barrett S

    Round 3
    64. Miami Dolphins: Terrence Wheatley CB
    65. St. Louis Rams: Eddie Royal WR
    66. Kansas City Chiefs: John Greco OT
    67. Carolina Panthers (from NYJ): DaJuan Morgan S
    68. Atlanta Falcons: Duane Brown OT
    69. New England Patriots: Brad Cottam TE
    70. Chicago Bears: Jordy Nelson WR
    71. Buffalo Bills (from BAL): John Carlson TE
    72. Jacksonville Jaguars (from BUF): Eric Young G
    73. Minnesota Vikings: Quentin Demps S
    74. Carolina Panthers: Chris Johnson RB
    75. San Francisco 49ers: Marcus Howard OLB
    76. Detroit Lions: Chad Reinhart OG
    77. Cincinnati Bengals: Jamar Adams S
    78. New Orleans Saints: Marcus Harrison DT
    79. Houston Texans: Jammal Charles RB
    80. Philadelphia Eagles: Terell Thomas CB
    81. Arizona Cardinals: Shawn Crable OLB
    82. Minnesota Vikings: Earl Bennett WR
    83. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Andre Woodson QB
    84. Washington Redskins: Chad Rinehart OG
    85. Seattle Seahawks: Lavelle Hawkins WR
    86. Tennessee Titans: Jason Jones DE
    87. Detroit Lions (from CLE): Ray Rice RB
    88. Pittsburgh Steelers: Matt Forte RB
    89. Jacksonville Jaguars: Terell Johnson S
    90. Chicago Bears: Mike McGlynn OT
    91. Green Bay Packers: Tony Hills OT
    92. Dallas Cowboys: Zack Bowman CB
    93. Indianapolis Colts: Xavier Adibi OLB
    94. New England Patriots: Jonathan Goff ILB
    95. New York Giants: Tyvon Branch CB
    96. Washington Redskins: Ahtyba Rubin NT
    97. Cincinnati Bengals: Tavares Gooden OLB
    98. Atlanta Falcons: Jermichael Finley TE
    99. Baltimore Ravens: Phillip Wheeler ILB

    4th Kendall Langford DE Hampton
Great size at 6’6 and would eventually replace Shaun Ellis at end

    6th Barry Richardson OT Clemson
Has all the tools but hasn’t really put it all together yet, maybe our future RT if it all works out.

7th Mike Dragosavich P North Dakota State
    Ben Graham sucks

    IF ROBERTSON IS TRADED
4th Kellen Davis TE/OLB Michigan State
Physically a beast has great frame and can transition well into possibly an OLB in the 3-4 if it doesn’t work out as a TE.

5th Kevin O’Connell QB San Diego State
This guy first off is a great athlete and will need a couple of years to learn but his potential is great. He is 6’6 228 as listed on nfl.com so he will have no problem looking over the pocket. He ran a 4.6 at the combine but looks even faster on tape, he has very good arm strength, has a very quick release and can throw great on the run.

Thats an awful deal to give up a future 2nd rounder as well as a 4th round pick for what is a late 2nd round pick.

Not too big on Cromartie to be honest, but I havent seen much of him to decide. He went from mid 2nd round to a top 6 pick in a matter of 2-3 months though? I dont know.........Besides we took a CB last year anyway.

Dont think we take a TE with Bubba Franks around in round 4. Richardson would be a big steal in round 6, since I think he goes in round 4 or maybe early round 5. Hardy would be a solid pick in round 2, brings some size to the table. Not sure if we take a punter though, I think Graham gets 1 more year to show what he can do. but in rd 7, Id do it.

I really agree with the pick at 6 and feel that DRC may be who we are targeting as he is one of the few names not associated with the Jets draft yet. There will be lots of disappointed Jets fans here, especially if we pass Gholston to pick him which we may do also.

I like the second round pick as well.

I don't like the trade and reminds me too much of the trade we made with Washington in the 2nd round that turned out to be very bad for Washington. It is just not a trade I see us doing.

I can't see them passing on Dre Moore if he's there at 36.

I like it. Its very similiar to the one I did, the only thing is I would get a reciever later on. I would fill the DE position with our #2(only because there will be some good 3-4 DE's there) and grab a reciever with a #4 or package our #4's to get into the third if someone we love is there. I would love to trade down and grab DRC later, but he will probably be #1cb because of his athleticism, speed and height.

I like it alot. Especially because I think we will wind up with an additional 2nd rounder next season when all is said and done because of the Vilma deal. Any time you can get another 2 guys that will start probably immediately in Lofton and Cromartie as well as Kelly I think its a good draft.

That deal really isnt bad think about it, the value for the 2009 draft picks are lower than they are for the 08 ones.If we have the draft that i predict we will be a playoff team and for a guy like Curtis Lofton, basically a David Harris clone id do it.
U have to make the deal worthwhile for the other team to help u out so in that sense it cant really be even.

Washington gave us a 2007 2nd rounder to move down to their 53rd pick in which we moved back up to pick Clemens up in the draft the deal is nothing like this deal.
In this deal we get their 08 2nd rounder for our 09 2nd rounder and an 08 4th.

Sorry I missed this one... Normally I try to comment on all of them.

I like KC going DT and feel its a real possibility given Jake Long is gone.

If we go CB in the 1st, I would prefer DRC to McKelvin.

I don't have it my mock, but I think Branden Albert might go higher due to his versatility. Something to think about...

Wow, Malcolm Kelly to the 2nd? I would be thrilled, but I don't see that happening.

I have to say, I really dislike the idea of giving up a 2009 2nd round pick, even though I do like Curtis Lofton. I'm never a fan of trading away future drafts' picks.

That's quite a steal for Arizona. Damn. But RBs might fall in this draft just due to the supply scaling heavier than demand.

I think Ahytba Rubin is a potential 3-4 NT, which isn't too common in the draft and will go higher as a result.

Other than this, the NFL's draft looks very solid.

Langford and Richardson are nice picks and we could use a punter to compete with Graham, even though I know almost zero about him. O'Connell has the tools to be a starter, from what I've read and would be a solid choice. It would certainly be a good idea to bring in a developmental guy on this team.

A TE/OLB? That's pretty interesting. Is he projected as either?

The Jets draft is set back in my mind due to that trade, but Curtis Lofton would be an excellent addition at least...

I won't agree with any draft that has Darren McFadden at 4.

They have bigger needs then running back. Per say, there 30th ranked defense on the rush last year.

There's logical. Then there's Al Davis. He might go for the flashier guy for his offense.

He really should look for Glenn Dorsey or Sedrick Ellis or even Vernon Gholston to shore up the defensive line, but McFadden is the type of athlete that GMs will have a hard time passing up when they're on the clock.
