    The order in which these five come off the board is not important

    The important thing, for the sake of this poll, is what to do if these five players comes off the board and trading down is not an option, I'd much rather know what you believe the Jets should do if they have to make the pick

    ==
    01. DOLPHINS - Chris Long, DE/OLB, Virginia
    ==
    02. RAMS - Vernon Gholston, DE/OLB, Ohio State
    ==
    03. FALCONS - Glenn Dorsey, DT, Louisiana State
    ==
    04. RAIDERS - Darren McFadden, RB, Arkansas
    ==
    05. CHIEFS - Jake Long, OT, Michigan
    ==
    06. NY JETS - ?????

    Eh, the scenario I fear...

    I'd go with Derrick Harvey there though.

    Best available CB probably McKelvin or DRC

    Ryan or Brohm (preferably Brohm)... He can sit for a year while the Pennington/Clemens era comes to an end, I just don't see Clemens being the long term answer for this franchise.

    I know, I know... it is not the conventional pick of the choices listed, but it is based almost entirely on the fact that I have seen Brohm play quite a bit. He would have gone in top 5 last year had he come out.

    Only time will tell. I will be surprised if he is not a very good NFL quarterback.

    I think Matt Ryan is going to be a very good QB. I don't care much for Brohm.

    Big reach but I chose Mendenhall. I think I'd be ok with McKelvin.

    derrick harvey he's a poor man c long.if you want a dark horse malcom kelley.a real stretch i know but the best wr available.with coles and cotch set for the next 2 years he would be good as the 3 and it usually takes 3 years for wr to emerge so that would time out perfect if cole is done in 2 years

    I chose the BA Qb option but I would only take Ryan at the 6 spot. I don't know if the Jets will actually take a QB that high this year but that is the pick that would excite me the most.

    Taking QB out of the equation it comes down to Harvey or Mendenhall, I do not want a CB at 6.

    Dorsey, should be a choice. He is an elite talent and after we draft him we could try to trade him and worst case he anchors dl at 3-4 end

    Jabba had him going #3 in his mock Top 5.

    However, along that line of thinking, I would go with Sedrick Ellis.

    No one because this draft is only 5 players deep.

    Everyone besides those 5 would be a reach at our pick.

    Desperately try to trade down but if you're stuck I think you go corner. For arguements sake lets say McKelvin, he would immediately fill a need and that's corner oppossite Revis. Harvey would be a 1 down player most likely and Mendenhall would be at best a #2 RB but would most likely come in 3rd on the depth chart. Before the Jenkins trade I would've said Ellis and Ryan is intriguing but I think with there's no clear cut BPA you try to fill a need.

    I think you have to gamble on Sweed, we need a number one WR, and the consensus is that had it not been for the injury he would have been a top 10 pick.

    So, in essence the gamble on the reach is hedged.
