i thought you were going to show the video of matt ryan's bar fight, or the one where he is showing off his rims...........oh, wait
 I dunno, that's pretty funny. Most college commercials suck with boredom. I mean, hitting that locker, that sold it.
i watched it... and?? Honestly the kid is destined for great things, he's got that aura about him that screams winner. I'd rather Atlanta take him than the Fins
Not sure what to think on this one, but I'd say he's not what I would call an appealing talent that's sure to raise heads. Besides the height and size, what other intangibles does this guy have? I read that where he had 19 ints, he still had a great season anyway.
i don't see sarcasm in there but ok.... the truth is that he has the exact attitude to bring a team back from the dead and lead them for 10 years not on physical ability but on pure leadership and intangibles.
The Deal with Matt Ryan is, there are at least two teams ahead of us who need a QB, plus at least one who may trade up, if he is a Franchise QB (which i think he is), he?ll be long gone when we pick, if he isn?t we won?t take him, either, if he falls.
Wow That is sad. IF Jets FO feels Matt Ryan is a franchise QB you have to take him. Qb is the m ost important position on a football team(take Brady off the Patriots) and alot times what seperates the good teams, from the great teams. Sure you don't necessarily have to have a very good QB to win a championship, but you better have some unit that elite to compensate for that fact. Jets still have a ways to go from having a very good defense. (personel still not that good and alot of holes) Now are the Jets FO looking shorterm versus longterm. They need to win now to keep their jobs. Taking a rookie Qb( going to take time) is not going to help much next season but iT Can put you in position, down the road, to win a championship. K Clemens or Pennington are not winning your team any championships.
If Ryan is the only player left at #6 that could actually help this team at some point I am sure the Jets will take him. He won't help them this year but maybe next year. I see him gone by then so it won't really matter. I think they would prefer to get Flacco in the 2nd but they may have to trade above Atlanta to get that done. If we can't get Chris Long my dream draft would be McFadden and Flacco with our first two picks. (Not that we could get either of them)
What does that have to do with my post? If either Miami, Atlanta, Baltimore and maybe KC or Chichago thinks he?s a Fanchise QB, he won?t be there at 6, if noone of that teams thinks he?s a Franchise QB-Prospect, he probably isn?t, and we won?t take him either. It doesn?t even matter, that we have Chad and Kellen, we won?t draft Ryan anyway.
