What's nice and neat is an OL that blocks for the run well, and pass blocks excellently.

We have made a start for the OL and the cast of RB characters in FA.

But we should keep the focus on what matters in the draft.

Since the Messiah isn't quite set to come yet.

I don't see anything about a quarterback in there, which pretty much validates his post.

Oh, go back and check on "QB as savior, Messiah Madness..."

There's far too much concern over who the QB is on the NYJ.

    I chose my name deliberately.

Let's keep Chad and Kellen to run the offense efficiently while we work on what really matters -- the OL, the DL, and the LBs -- then some outside speed.

The last thing this team needs right now is to dither with the QBs.

NDmick said it best. We need a Qb who can make the others around him better not a Qb that we have to coddle and spoonfeed like a Rookie after six years. We don't need a Messiah just a Qb that can throw a fifteen yard out or slant without linebackers and backup safties jumping his routes. Does Chad make anybody on that team better by his presence. The answer is No. Randy Moss made him a number one draft pick, Curtis Martin took the heat off him for four years. Without a Future Hof to hide his deficiences the truth comes out. It is amazing that we sit here and defend the 25th Qb in the league like he is Tom Brady!

This is all ridiculous...IF there is no competition, CHAD will be the starter, IF there IS a competition..CHAD will be the starter....for whatever reasons you guys hate him for, not the strongest arm, etc., he will prove you wrong with his intelligence, his precision passsing and most of all his heart....dude is a winner and he will be YOUR NYJ quarterback in 2008......get used to it and GET BEHIND HIM!!!!! The ONLY reason Mangini pulled Chad last year was "change for change sake" as the season was down the tubes and he wanted to get Clemens some experience . We now have an O-LINE to protect him AND the running game and if he DOES get injured , we have a great backup in Kellen. but for now, that's ALL Kellen is.....a great backup

To me that is a blind faith, propaganda post. I needs more substance, its the rhetoric that has been preached since his 1st rotator cuff surgery. I support us fans being behind the guy who is behind the Center, but it must be expressed in a better manner IMHO.

ok.....I guess that's that.........I'm done here anyway! We can all agree to disagree on the qb situation. Let's just wait and see I guess. I like Both of our guys and wish the best for both..............I just think that CHAD has the edge and will be the starter!

I think both Chad and Kellen will do great for us for now. Whoever wins the competition in the eyes of the CS I am willing to back.

Actually, I have a lot of faith in this CS. Like a lot of you guys, I was extremely frustrated by this year. The moves that the CS have decided to make -- Callahan, the cuts, the FAs all seem very deft and right to me.

Actually, I was surprised by how good these moves have been. I didn't expect the NYJ to spend so much money on the right stuff.

    But they did.

I don't feel that some of you guys really appreciate what bad losers our OL and DL and LBs have been for some time.

I don't believe that the team's overall speed -- especially at wideout -- is up to par with the NFL. And I can't stand the fact that Randy Moss can run all over our secondary at 3/4 speed and nobody, but nobody could keep up with him enough to get their hands on the ball when it was finally thrown to him the way Gibril Wilson and Corey Webster did at the end of the SB. It was embarrassing.

Kellen and Chad have nothing whatsoever to be ashamed of. They were let down by the offense, time and time again.

Until the OL even EQUALs these two QBs' individual play, they are what is embarrassing about the offense, not the skill players.

    LBs are soft:
    David Harris is the shit.
    Barton is smart but slow-footed
    Hobson is willing but slow-footed
Thomas has to get a better attitude, he's too damned relaxed in that big contract of his
    Pace I'm looking forward to
Need a hard hitter speed demon
Need some good and solid backups so they can always go full speed.

Just like the DL needs good backups to keep the heat on the line of scrimmage
