I went back and fourth between King and Calias for my cards pick. I decided that CB was much more of a pressing need and King has just as much upside as Calias.
To all GMs......I removed the GM of the Eagles & Chiefs for missing multiple picks. Thanks to MrElectic29 for picking up the Eagles. The KC GM spot is open. I'm sorry I had to remove a GM, but I was very clear with the Rules, I know circumstances occur in people's lives, but it isn't fair for the Guys that are here waiting.
You don't have to justify yourself to us, we all know he was skirting his responsibilities for whatever reason.
Thanks....I just want everyone to beware of what happens when a GM neglects his commitment to the draft.
If a GM only has one team they can take the Chiefs as a second team, right? Just so the one team GM's know they can take KC
Not the Guy who took Dallas .. GlennFoley He might want a second team since he got in late and already missed some picks?
I had to step away for a meeting but I don't think it took me all that long to pick. I was serously thinking about Devon Thomas or Limas Sweed in round one but they were taken before my pick. Getting Cerilous and still being able to nab Doucet in round two works very well for me.
Wow insert QB name here for the Bucs? I wouldnt think they draft a QB they got 5 on the roster right now. BTW nice job for the Jets Draft picks would love it if we got those 2
Docny, can you please delete the name in that post, the pick for Tampa was changed to accomodate PA's mock draft value board .. I hadn't seen it until now, but when I saw his mock I changed the pick to Patrick Lee Anyway, can you please edit the above post and remove the name of the former pick Thank You, Jabba
No Problem........Awesome pick.......Doucet, IMO, is a high Rd 2 value player and may become one of the best receivers in this draft. He is well rounded, blocks his ass off, good hands and would fit well in the Steeler's offense.
That is true but you save that for A later pick and aim for a spot you desperately need. Day 1 is when you aim to get starters for your squad, day 2 is for depth.
That depends on how good you think the prospect is though. I obviously view Campbell as a better prospect than you which is why I woul dpick his value higher than you would for depth purposes.
I haven't checked the draft order to this but: http://myespn.go.com/blogs/hashmarks/0-5-854/Complete-draft-order-finally-available.html
Chilo Rachal was great value at this point in the draft, he could be a top-20 pick. A nice fit for the Titans as well after they lost Bell.
Sorry guys. Never thought I would be the guy to hold people up. Good luck to the GM with my teams, and this is going well. Keep up the good work.
I chose Carlson for a few reasons: 1. Value: Some people have him projected as the top TE and I honestly thought he wasn't going to get past the Seahawks. 2. Need: With Bubba Franks wearing Jets green, Donald Lee is their primary TE with no viable backup. Lee was a workhorse last season after Franks went down with an injury, but the work took a toll on him after a while. 3. Ability: Carlson is a solid pass catching TE and an above average blocker in both the running and passing games. He'll give Rodgers the ability to use two TE options and Carlson can really spread the field. I have two second round picks with the Packers, so I'll be addressing another need shortly. Thoughts?
Yep..another player I was targeting. I'm happy with Davis, the best receiving tight end in the draft.
