i really doubt we get that much for him. a 6th or 7th plus a conditionals 4th next year would be the most i expect.
I just want to give a shoutout to Warhound for making the perfect Jets pick there. If we could go Gholston-Hardy and not have to trade up for either, I will be ecstatic.
Thanks man, I appreciate it. I got lucky. I think Hardy is going to go to the 49ers at the bottom of Round 1 unfortunately unless something happens. Whoever has them that took a OL, in my opinion, was foolish. GMing the Jets is one of the harder things to do because you want to make picks that make sense while at the same time keeping in mind that the board members will freak and never forget (or forgive) if you make stupid picks. Side note, why would the Saints go after a DT in Pat Sims? I mean, the value is there for the round but with so many other needs at say TE and CB, I just don't see why those wouldn't have been looked at.
Aren't we suppsed to be giving our feedback on other GM's picks? I've only seen a couple of posts like that during the second round...the rest of the posts have been about a non-existant Dewayne Roberston trade.

Damn Jabba, you're killing my Panthers draft. First you took Harvey, my first choice and now you took my second rounder as well.
I have to say, I'm not thrilled with my second round pick. I got thrown off by the 5 picks before their pick were all guys I was targeting, especially the 3 ILBs. What do you guys think about Baker to the Panthers? It does fill a big need.
I think its a great pick............Baker is a solid pickup for the team, who needs a OT in the worst way. Baker is a borderline 1st rder, and to get him where you got him was a very nice move. Not too big on my Bears pick, but he fills a big need I guess for them too. Manningham has a shot at winning a starting job in Chicago, yes its gotten that bad in the windy city............Booker and Bradley are the starters as of this moment.
I actually considered Manningham for the Panthers, I think he is going to be a great pro and is a great fit for Chicago.
Sorry vison, but there are no friends in the mock draft, its a cut throat, dog eat dog, kill or be killed, every man for himself endevour .. and my war-room will be happy to know we got you before you got us
DT, IMO, is one of the Saints biggest needs, so I was very happy to get Simms there. They have Brian Young, Hollis Thomas, and Kendrick Clancy which is a below average and pretty old (30, 34, and 29 respectively) unit. As for CB, they addressed that by signing Gay and adding him to McKenzie and Jason David, which gives them an solid group of CBs.
I concur. I was sitting at work before saying to myself, "If he doesn't take the top TE, he's nuts." If the Falcons first four picks turn out like yours did, and now with a 4th 2nd round pick, they will likely rebuild very, very fast.
Jason David was a product of the defensive scheme in Indy and was a total bust in New Orleans. IMO, they are very thin at CB with McKenzie coming off an injury and Randall Gay being somewhat unproven and a product of the thin CB market this year. I'm not saying DT isn't a need for their defense, I'm just saying IMO, that their secondary is their biggest weakness.
I hope I can get on the board tonight, waiting away with my pick for the Skins, and wow did my pick count ever get boosted by the comps with Washington
