I would love to see Chad with the battles with Clemens. We have all seen Chad do good things with a good line.

My memory is so short that I wouldn't remember a situation like that if it happened just last season ...

These two videos are proof as to why Chad is done. 3 steps, turn, pick 6.

Notice what Ian Eagle says in the Cincy video: "and the 4th quarter nightmare continues" -- If a QB can't win it at the end of the game- get rid of him.

That is not the O-lines fault- that is all chad.
Asante Samuel's pick 6 in the playoffs in 06 was all chad- not the o-line.

Its time to break up with Chad Pennington.

How about showing some highlights of the Dallas or 2nd NE game where Kellen had INT's returned as well? I keep forgetting his rocket-arm makes him immune from criticism here

you bring up the Dallas game? 35-3? wow ok

NE game? Seymour breaks his ribs and the errant pass get caughts at the 5 to walk into endzone??

Were those during the 4th Qtr with time to win the game?? The last potential GW drive?

I remember Clemens pulling a GW drive in BAL before his WRs let him down, namely Justin McFuckhands.

    Bad examples...try again.

You are making the assumption that someone criticizing pennington is in love with Clemens. That is definitely not the case for me. I gave Pennington 5 years, I'm willing to give Clemens more than 8 games before I give up. So far the only thing that he's impressed me with is 4 quarter moxy.

Im sure our Defense did a great job stopping the Cincy to just 21pts in the 4th qtr alone.

Also, our O-Line was very productive piling up those 84 rushing yards on only 26 attempts.

    C. Pennington 20/31, 272yds, ONLY 3TDs, and one pick.

Honestly, do u think CP lost that game?

Even the game against Giants was not really his fault. 55yds rushing on 26 attempts. CP threw 3 picks and played badly. He could have done much better but no one else played a decent game either. Just so all of us know on this board, a team consists of 50+ players, not just a Chad.

According to some here, Chad loses every game on his own and wins none so don't even try. The entire team played like shit this year, but it was all Chad's fault.

    7 of those 21 points were a result of CP's pick 6.

By the same token most of the hardcore CP supporters refuse too admit that he's been part of the problem as well. Supporters make as many excuses as detractors.

Did he lose the game alone? No one does.

But when the last drive of the game was in his hands, HE threw a 3 step out route that looked as if i could have picked it off. Then again i'm still pretty athletic, but then again this is the NFL. He didn't lose the game- but his pick 6 is the reason why it was sealed shut.

The giants game wasnt really his fault?? When "wasn't really" is used- its an excuse that actually means "almost totally" his fault. 3 picks is terrible, against a secondary that was criticized all season. The pick 6 in that game also sealed that game shut, Aaron Ross' 1st INT of his career.

Its 3 step out routes. Fucking elementary shit for a QB and he can't do it anymore. That means you sit down and someone else comes in. Clemens, Tui, Brad Smith, Practice Squad QB, draft pick- anyone..... His career is over, like other QBs in this league. Move on.

Situation: Cincy 10-23 Jets. Just over a quarter left to play. Within 12 minutes, the DEFENSE gives up 21 pts and Cincy leads 31-23. Then CP throws a pick on OBVIOUS passing situation with a whopping 37 seconds left only about 70 yds to go for a tie pending 2pt conv.

Still think its all CP? If so, theres more...Cincy's K. Watson rushes for Rushing 130yds on 31 attempts. 12yds was his longest So he pretty much gained 3-5yds each rush. He had 2 TDs before the season in his 7-8yrs pro "hall of fame" career. He was able to sneak in just 3 TDs in a span of 28 minutes.

CP had an almost perfect game until that one pick. Dont blame it on CP. Blame it on the team that also 'included' CP.

I wish he does'nt get released. If he does, he might come back to whip the Jets ass. Maybe then we will understand that the problem was not CP. It was, infact, the team.

He played a few bad games. So did MVP Brady. CP is not the greatest, never was and may never be. But he is a top 10 QB at this point if given similar talented teams to all QBs.

    Anyone else???

I wish I had that conviction about something, but then again that blindness would make others think i'm crazy.

Understand that Pennington cracked the top 10 in 2002 only, i didn't check rankings so i may be giving Pennington that one.

Whipping the Jets ass? Really? When you are the Franchise QB for a team and you comeback to play them, i think they know what you are as a QB. Mangini has an encyclopedia on how to beat Chad that he stole from the Patriots, that was reported somewhere in 2006.

Once again i'm going to preach this--------- Chad had reached the point in his career where he is not capable to lead a team. It happens to every QB to ever play the game.

    Break up with Chad Pennington.

NDMick, Im a Jets fan. I fight till the end. But nothing posted here by me is a fact, just an opinion bro...

Having said, I never said CP had a perfect game against Cincy. He had an 'almost perfect' game. The pick was his fault. Losing the game was'nt.

No one has to admit he played one of his worse games last yr against Giants. Its pretty much a fact. What I really was trying to say is, "It was'nt really his fault ALONE". There were other factors that lead to the loss but he played his best to lose that one, I never disagreed that.

3 step route is one of his specialty. Does that mean he can't do it anymore? Field goals is a kickers specialty. If they miss a FG, does'nt mean they cant kick anymore. Heck, kickers miss XP too. With out looking at any stats, I think almost every kicker who has a few yrs experience has missed an XP, *&*%$%@ elementary shit for a kicker.

Its never any one guy to lose a game. But my point is that Chad is an 8 year pro. Injuries and time have beaten him down to a QB not capable of getting it done. That is my opinion as well, but i feel i'm right. This is not a new case in the NFL. Qbs get old and can't do it anymore.

When Kickers miss enough times, they get cut from the NFL for not coming through in the clutch..... not coming through in the clutch-- that sounds like Chad.

I love Chad's drive, will to win, never give up, team first attitude. But his skills have deteriorated. I will love Chad for what he did in his prime, but its time to put his starting career out to pasture.

I am now looking for the next QB to lead my team and hopefully take them to the SB.

I know its your opinion, this is mine too- but i really disagree thats all.

We are all friends here :)

When you are the Franchise QB for a team and you comeback to play them, i think he knows what you are as a defense.

I have to re-evaluate my math skills so correct me if I'm wrong. Im pretty sure 1+2=3. Im also sure that 2+1 also equals 3.
