It was a solid pick man, and I think the vast majority of us are happy to see Gholston in the LB corps for next season. Hope everything went well with your friend's surgery.

Reggie Smith is my personal choice for the Jets at #36 unless someone surprising falls there. He has the versatility to play both FS or CB, which are both areas of need for us. Based on where we are in need of help, he would be able to step in.

    Our Eugene Wilson maybe?

Really? Felix Jones before (INSERT OTHER RUNNINGBACK NAMES HERE)? Not my personal choice but Felix Jones should still be a great spell back for Barber.

I don't know, I just feel like Jones is going to hold up better in the league. Jones also works better as a return man and has excellent hands out of the backfield.

Just my personal opinion, those guys should be good pickups in round 2 for a team.

Hey Quack, please edit your message.

We don't talk about guys that haven't been picked yet.

Sorry. In retrospect, I was referring to two of my friends, to whom my crew has bestowed nicknames that I previously typed out that just so happened to line up with those of two runningbacks up for the draft.

    My apologies.

I totally concur with your insight on Gholston. Pace on one side with Gholston on the other with Thomas alternating in to keep things fresh and we have ourselves a serious pass rush.

My friend is good he had a defibrillator due to a genetic predisposition to heart attacks (his father died of one at 39) and he's only 26. The difib had a malfunction and had to be replaced but he bled out during surgery so they had to crack his chest. This happened Wednesday, he just went home today. He's doing quite well. I appreciate your thoughts.

His versatility was the main reason I chose Smith for the Pack was because of his versatility. They just got Aaron Rouse last year but its not known if he'll step up. They're also getting too old at CB. Smith's ability to shift positions made him a logical choice since the Pack needs help in their secondary. He wasn't my first choice for that pick, but he'll be a good addition.

    Wow I must say this....

1 guy has no business heading to round 2...Wouldent be surprised if Miami snatches him up to open round 2 though. Thatd suck if it happened in real life.

I figured Groves had to be GJF's pick there. Too good of a fit, and a scary one for us Jet fans.

sorry guys I was out all day and I havent even been paying attention to TGG lately. My bad. I would appreciate it if someone could take my spot. Im a bit preoccupied lately.

Thanks for filling in Mobius. You went the exact route I would have went. WR, RB. Perfect picks. Anyway, I would like it if someone could fill in for Dallas. Im gonna need a fill in this year.

The Rams select the BPA (Brohm)....by far on my board. Not a huge need, Bulger is 31 years Old. Couldn't pass up a Franchise QB for the future in a couple of years. Value and potential is off the charts at this point.

Why not just give the Cowboys to Mobius since he's made both of their picks

Jabba, I offered a GM position to Mobius, but he's very busy at School. He will help us out and make picks that have gone over 3 hours, when he's available, but he can't commit to be a GM at this time.

I've offered the Dallas position in a thread, hopefully a regular will take it.

WW, you burned me by one pick .. I really thought Brohm would slide too me in RD 2 after he passed some QB needy teams .. sort of got blind-sided by the Rams .. but I shouldn't complain, after I took Dorsey I would have been thrilled with Flacco in RD 2, that's what I was hoping for, but when Brohm got SO CLOSE I sort of got greedy :)

Jabba....Didn't mean to screw you :), he was just the BPA on my board by a ton and I mean a ton. That's whats make these drafts fun, anticipating your next pick. St louis has more pressing needs, but couldn't pass up a talent like Brohm. Bulger and Green don't give me alot of confidence. Flacco was an excellent choice for ATL.

Im sorry WW85 but I just dont get the Brohm pick, especially with the Rams begging for lineman right now....there was a lineman that I think STL would love to snatch for themselves at this point in the draft.

Bulger signed a mega deal like a year ago, and though injured somewhat the past 1-2 years, he is still viewed as the main man in town. I think its a great pick BPA wise, but still....Ehh STL has so many needs on that defense and o-Line. I ran the Rams in the 3 round draft, and lineman go by FAST and I got stuck by round 3......

I'm the Niners GM, and I have a class until around 2. If there is some sort of miracle and my pick comes up before 2 o'clock...just give me some time and I'll submit it as soon as I can.

It definitely won't take me the entire 3 hour time limit though.
