Why bother...we don't have anyone to get him the ball....." Chad drops back and completes a 2 yard boom to Johnson......let him go somewhere else and be a star.

the jets need a wr badly actually. They dont have a 3rd reciever to play in the slot. That would allow us to put Cotch in the slot. You think he was good last year, imagine him at his most comfortable position which is playing in the slot. If a team doesnt have a solid slot guy then the offense can only go so far.

But the bigger issue is you can have Jerry Rice, Randy Moss, and Chad Johnson all in their prime but if you have no QB it doesnt matter.

I would cough up our 1st rounder this year... and I would even throw in D-Rob as a bonus in trade for Chad Johnson!

Who are we going to get at 6? McFadden? We don't need a runner. Draft beef with the rest of our picks.

Johnson in my opinion is more playful than divisive. People want a bonified playmaker? There he is, and imagine what kind of year Coles would have with some field opened up for him.

I don't see anything playful about trying to punch your coach at halftime of a playoff game that they were winning because he wasnt getting the ball enough.

He thinks he is alot better than he is.

Sorry... Chad Johnson is one of the best in the league. You can't argue that. He may think he is better than he is, but anyway you slice it, he is in the Top 5-10.

I don't know what exactly happened in their locker room, that's all hearsay. Other than that his celebrations are a little gaudy for my taste, but he isn't out getting arrested, or calling his QB a f--. He isn't calling out his QB after the SB.

I think he genuinely wants to win.

Also, who are we going to get at 6 that is a proven commodity, and one of the best players at his position?

yeah i was at lunch with my friend whos a cowboys fan we discussed pacman. I said the guy physically is one of the best corners in the league but i wouldnt want him anywhere near my fucking team. he simply agreed and replied "we dont need a CB bad enough to the point where we run the risk of him being an idiot in dallas"

im paraprhasing but yeah pacman is a douche. hes not even a TO. at least TO doesnt get associated with crime. although charges should be brought up for being such an attention whore.

I would argue that Chad is one of the best in the league. He drops way too many balls to be considered elite. I think he may be one of the most overrated players in the entire league.

I dont know what happened inside the locker room either but from what Boomer Esiason has said, it is not good. He heard from a coach in Cincy that Chad Johnson went after his coach because he wasn't getting the ball enough and this was at halftime of a playoff game that his team was winning at the time.

No sane GM would trade a top 10 pick for a WR in his thirties and is a ticking time bomb. He is fueding with his QB who is one of the best QBs in the league. Their fued was one of the reasons Cincy was as bad as they were last year. Obviously their D was atrocious but the O was clearly not on the same page and that killed them last year. Cincy's insistence on keeping Chad Johnson is going to be the downfall of Marvin Lewis, who IMO is fired after next season.

Great contribution to the board Mr.E. It is shocking the board survived without your meaningful contribution for so long. You should really try not to get banned again, I'm not sure the board will survive again.

To answer your question, FUED is the acronym for First Unit Equipped Date.

That's great and all, but what does the First Unit Equipped Date have to due with Chad Johnson being the main contributor to Marvin Lewis' demise?

To answer my own question, absolutely nothing.

Marvin Lewis is supposed to be some kind of defensive genius, right? He's sure doing a hell of a job in Cincy. Lewis will get fired because he's not a solid NFL coach. The Bengals offense is just decent. It should be so much more explosive with all of the talent they have. If the people in charge of the Bengals were smart, they'd clean house if that team has another poor year. I don't want Chad Johnson either, but he certaintly won't be the main reason if Lewis is fired.

    Who's contributing now?

Well dont you think this would have been a more productive post in the first place rather than pointing out a meaningless spelling error on my part?

The Bengals O is the only reason Lewis hasn't been fired already. They were more than decent before last year and carried the team to the playoffs 2 years ago which is most likely the only reason Lewis is still there. One of the main reasons for the downfall of the O is the FEUD betwen Johnson and Palmer and if that doesn't change it will contribute to the downfall of Marvin Lewis in Cincy.
