BakerMaker.....Good pick with Clady for Denver, nice value. Harvey going a pick earlier was a definite need too!!

Yeah both Rivers and Harvey gone made the pick that much easier for DEN go to with. Clady scared some people off with the poor testing and his knees arent the biggest but he has solid technique and is just what the doctor ordered because Denver needs any sort of protection.

On top of that, Claddy's best chance to flourish is in a zone blocking scheme like Denver's. Very solid pick.

The Panthers/Vision selecting Rashard Mendenhall wasn't a surprise at all.

Solid pick...he would pair up nicely with DeAngelo Williams in Carolina. This league is evolving season after season: You can never have too many backs.

RBBC's are starting to become pretty damn effective.

My only concern with the pick is I think Fox is really going to let DeAngelo Williams the 1st rder of 2 yrs back get a chance to show what he can do. Mendenhall can play though, no doubt the dude is a machine.

  10. I'm not a huge fan of my Cards pick...but I feel like I was caught in "No man's land" value/need wise .... I went BPA given the circumstances.

I like it, Kurt, I thought it was a very good pick for the Cards

For the Saints, I was hoping one of the top 2 CBs or DTs fell, but they both went in the top 9. The Saints do still need a lot of help at OLB, so I'm pretty happy with Rivers. I wish I could've traded down though.

Eh..I don't necessarily agree with that. I think Williams is poised to take over full time and they have plenty of other needs.

I agree Rambo..............Panthers need DL, O-Line, MLB & Secondary help. Plenty of Time for a RB in later rounds, plus I'm a huge DeAngelo Williams fan. I know in the real draft Bear fans would commit suicide if they lose RM by one pick.

I think Otah is a better pick for them, improving their line would help that offense more than Mendenhall would if you ask me

It was a very solid pick Kurt. I personally don't think Edge has too much tread left on the tires and Stewart would be a monster for them.

I was speaking in terms of what most Bear fans want...Mendenhall(local connection). Their true need is O-Line, but I'm not an Otah fan.

Guys, the Clocks shuts off at Midnight. I'm going to give Green Hurricane(his time expires at 11:50 P.M) till 10:00 A.M. tomorrow to make his pick. Hopefully he will check in before Sunday morning.

We got half way thru Rd 1, which is what I expected. It's going to take Two Weeks to complete the draft.

If you're not going to be around tomorrow......PM me your board.

    Great job guys.

As bad as hes looked so far, I think some Bears fans will be giving Cedric Benson 1 more shot to impress. He will be on a tight leash, but the money hes making and the investment Bears management put on him will have fans hoping he can do something worthwhile.

I agree. I think DeAngelo already was the better RB in Carolina. But his Pass-pro was pretty poor, so they let Foster the starter. Now that it seems his pass-protection skills got better, i think they have a have a good 15-20 carries back, who just needs someon to spell him. I see them go RB in this draft, but not in the 1st.
