exactly. College DL, 6?4+ 300lbs +/- 10 lbs, good passrusher/bullrusher -> NFL 34 DE College DE, 6?3+ 365 lbs +/- 10 lbs, sub 4,8 40-time, good feet -> NFL 34 OLB College OLB/ILB, strong, who can shed Blocks very well -> NFL 34 ILB That sceme fits about 95% of all front 7 prospects
He isn't lying. But I'm sure he didn't go into last year's draft expecting to trade down. If he sees an opportunity to grab McFadden at the right spot, he'll trade up.
I know you meant 265 lbs... but if you can find a 6'4 365 lbs lineman who runs a sub 4.8 let me know- i got some bets i'd like to make with people.
Sure he will, maybe in the 10-15 spot if he falls that far but not into the top 5. What he is saying is true. Nobody wants to trade up to the top 5 and everybody in the top 5 want to trade down. Guess who the only team in the last 8-10 years was that traded into the top 5...you got it, the Jets. For Robertson no less. A DT and I believe the only DT to be taken in the top 4 picks in more than 10 years.
