Here are my obvious rebuttals that people might bring up:
    1. Gholston first to the Phins. I think Parcells is going to continue to run the 3-4 and will drool over potentially the next LT. I feel like coaches seek to duplicate former stars they have had. I actually think the most likely candidate for first overall would be Jake Long. I don't know why but I have a strong feeling Chris Long will not be the first pick. He is too much of a tweener who doesn't fit well in any scheme. In the 3-4 he is too big to play LB, too small to play DE and maybe even too small to play DE in the 4-3. He would certainly have to beef up because he isn't blazing past anyone with his speed.

    2. I also think the Rams are going to go DT when it is all said and done. I think they really love Carriker but want to move him outside which would require some interior help. Pairing Dorsey and Carriker may give them a dominant defensive line in the league with Little on the other side. I may see them taking Jake Long but if I think he is gone with the first pick, I'd say Chris Long as my 4th choice behind Jake and the two DTs.

    3. The more I think about it the more I love Jenkins to TB.

    4. Quentin Groves in round 2 would be a great pick given who is left. I think he can be a Manny Lawson/DeMarcus Ware type before he is a Shawne Merriman type, think speed vs. force. Other possibilities here include: Early Doucet, Carl Nicks, Jerod Mayo, Curtis Lofton, Cliff Avril, Brandon Flowers but I thought comparable players would be available later for everyone but Groves.

Gholston could go 1st to the Fins, but Long has much more athleticism. I don't know if that is going to work in Parcell's/Sparano's 3-4 system. Long has better change of direction and overall football smarts. He still is the better player out of the 2.

I think the Rams go J. Long or Dorsey as well, i don't see them going anywhere else, they have no reason to. We all need to remember that Dorsey and Ellis can easily be in the top 5 still.

    Which Jenkins to TB?

Groves is still a late 1st early 2nd... Mayo might surprise people and go really early or fall, Lofton may be the next harris, i don't know if he's going to be as good as harris but then again being almost as good as harris is being better than most ILBs. I don't know why, but when I picture "Avril" on the back of our Jerseys, i see it becoming the one on everyones back in a years time. I don't know why, its just a gut feeling if we pick him- the fans will love him.
