i propose a ganggreen law. whenever you post sarcasim you MUST include a smiley face! ps this post was sarcastic
Why can't we just all act like darksiders while we figure the rational people are just making fun of the real ones?
if stuckey can stay healthy hell be a major surprise to alot of people on the board. ive seen him do amazing things in person.
Those 2 definitely lived up to expectations. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a full injury free season from Stuckey. Bender....well I'm not sure if I'll ever see him play lol. I really hope Stuckey can make a difference this year for us.
I could see Stuckey play #3 for us if we dont take a wr in the upper rounds of the draft. If we do tho, hes a special teamer. Bender is a guy that will not be active this whole season again.
What is with this Bender? He getting beat like a drum in practice? Is he stupid? He is apparently and big and strong young guy with an attitude, when you hear him interviewed. Has anybody seen anything about his failure to impress, or problems off-field, or lack of commitment, ...or what? Bender is a mystery. Sometimes this coaching staff sort of puts a player on the shelf for a protracted period of time. Often I get the impression this is to "teach them something." Drew Coleman is one of those on the shelf guys that may be coming back a bit. But Bender, there is little or nothing about him.
I think he's being groomed to be the backup that can do it all, so if one starter goes down wherever you plug him in, except for LT- thats a position in and of itself. We don't hear anything because he's just not that important.
i agree. once they teach him how to pass-block, hopefully they can plug him in anywhere. call me optimistic, but i'm expecting the hiring of Callahan to really help Bender.
I'm expecting Callahan to push the hogs to a top 8 rushing attack and return LW to the HR threat he was in 06.
The Pats had quantity this past draft and the only one to make the team was their overated 1st round safety.
i would take 2 guys like it appears we got last year every year, only time will tell if they end up being what most on here project them to be in the future. bender was godawful last year, there is ALOT of work that needs to be done to get anything out of him at this point. is callahan the man to make a difference, i sure hope so but i dont expect anything out of bender. hopefully i end up being pleasantly surprised.
I'm pretty sure in drafts, You want Quality not Quantity. If you take 8 players that are horrible then you accomplished nothing. If you take 4 players with quality you accomplished a lot.
