You wouldn't know Calvin Pace if he fell on you. As to Dyson, you were right about him. He was not a good signing. I was against that particular acquisition. Thank goodness he is off the Jets roster now.
I saw Pace play often in 2007. He is best against the run. He is better in rushing the passer than he is in coverage. I thought Pace played better in 2007 than Thomas did in 2006. I was totally against the Jets signing Thomas last offseason. I was hoping he'd go to San Francisco or New England. I'm all for the Pace acquisition.
I would pass it down, but im sure you couldnt handle it. Also your biggest concern is the NYJ defense thant I dont think you know all that well. I am leaving the scale at home for your information. I think you have bigger concerns, you havent had a winning season in forever. And your owner has been ruining this team for a while now. A blessing in disquise for a Raiders fan would be Al Davis dying. This guy has simply ruined the franchise and is desperately trying to bring it back. If I have learned anything about the NFL it is that you need consistency, so instead of thinking about the height and weight of your defense players, and then comparing them for a 3-4 defense like the NYJ. I think you should explain to me why Davis would clean house after one season. Consistency my man. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/story?columnist=yasinskas_pat&id=3304812 Youthâ„¢
why not keep him at 400 pounds, draft dorsey get him ellis up to 400 pounds and draft gholston to drive the qb to the ground
Jenkins at 400 is no biggie. Hell, britney spears weighed at LEAST that much and a year later she's back under 300.
cuz at 400 pounds how will you move around at any rate of speed. Also, at 400 pounds you would need to take a break like every other play. Unless that post was a joke
Obviously you have no idea what you are talking about. When the Jets play 3-4 they can drop up to 8 players back into coverage compared to the 4-3 you could only drop 7. When you do this everyones zones to cover are much smaller, thus, much easier to cover. The one thing your forgetting is that the best way to disrupt the passing game is to get to the quarterback. What exactly do you think Pace, Thomas, and Gholston are here to do? They are going to get to the quarterback early and often and by doing that they will alleviate the pressure off the defensive backfield. So please stop and think things through next time, and please tell Al Davis that 40 times do not make football players pro bowlers.
But Russell beats out Coleman. (Or comes close to Ellis) He can play DE in 3-4, or DT in 3T position. (I don't think he's fast enough to pull DE in 4-3) What a QB, eh? If he chooses to hand the ball off then be the leading blocker, it wouldn't be fun to be LB in front of him. 300 pounds of sheer mass coming at you!
Most of the time jeaux is saying 'sdfh slfj;sdggj sdfjsdfj aweropwe z,./vms ;sdf zdcva ef zd;fksd; sdgg', but he lucks out and it almost resembles sentences. I guess that's what happens when you combine the DNA of a slug and a potbelly pig.
Well, they say if you give a monkey a typewriter and leave him alone, eventually he'll write War & Peace.
