PITTSBURGH -- Highly regarded prep quarterback Terrelle Pryor says he will attend Ohio State. The quarterback from Jeannette High School near Pittsburgh announced his decision Wednesday. Pryor is picking Ohio State over Michigan, Penn State and Oregon. Pryor held a similar news conference last month but decided at the last minute not to announce his choice that day. Pryor is the only Pennsylvania player to both rush and pass for at least 4,000 yards in football. He also scored 2,285 points in basketball. For now, Pryor says he does not plan to play basketball in college. This kid looks awesome.
What will come of the other 15 QBs on the roster now that Terrelle "So What If It's Signing Day" Pryor chose OSU?
Yea, I seen that, and he is right. State College is rural, surrounded by farm land, middle of nowhere actually. No wonder it's a party school, that's about all there is to do other than a concert or two at the Bryce Center. I grew up about 20 miles away.
Isnt Boeckman or whatever a sophmore this year? Do you honestly believe they wont let him start until he is a junior?? There is no way that happens. If hes not the starter day 1 he will be shortly there after.
No, Boeckman will be a sixth-year senior this year, who, I might add, took them to the national championship game. 20 starters back. I doubt the vest will start Pryor. I've been following Tressel for 18 years now since he was at Youngstown, and he has yet to be that unpredictable.
You know, it helps that Boeckman gets a little competition anyway. And Pryor has actually said he wants to learn the position from someone, which makes me think he may not be the next Maurice Clarett.
