Hell Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes we should! Cherilus is a phenom. I personally think he is the best RT prospect in the draft, and a better Olineman than Jake Long. He is going to be the steal of the draft. He will be our Harris this year. The guy is a BEAST, he just lays Dlineman out on their ass and opens massive holes. We got a guy we can develop Bender, no more projects. They draft Cherlus put him in as RT then move Woody over to his natural position at RG (Moore would be solid depth), do you realize how dominant our Oline would be? Or have Cherilus sit behind Woody for a year saoking up the knowledge. We would have a young dominate Oline for years! Cherilus is the biggest sleeper in this draft, IMO. This would be a HUGE signing. YES YES YES YES!!!!!!!!!!!!! Whoo Hooo!
I'm not good with evaluating the draft but if Cherilus can be as good as you say he can and from what other people have said about him... I would feel confident drafting him in the 2nd
I don't think I have seen a mock without Cherilus in the first round, and even if he does make it out of the first, whichever team doesn't get Jake Long out of Miami and Kansas City is going to be looking at tackles. Kanasa City could go tackle in the first and second. If he falls, that would be great, but I think we'd have a better shot at Carl Nicks in the second.
I honestly don't know much about other positions and I don't watch college football. But I following the Oline, in the NFL and college prospects. Even when I watch games I focus on the OL. I have watched tape. And if my opinion matters, Cherilus is the real deal.
Well Jake Long is a projected LT, Cherilus a projected RT. Most mocks I have seen have him going 35-38. I would rather have Baker over Nicks, he is a bit small and has a nagging injury, but he has ALOT of raw potential.
McShay has him at 29 to the Niners, Kiper has him at 29 to the Niners, nfldraftcountdown.com has him at 27 to the Chargers, Carucci has him at 29 to the Niners. I would love to have him if he's there, but I don't think he will.
we hae a developmental right tackle named jacob bender.we need somebody who can step right in and play. cherilus can do the job.
Cherlius has much more potential than Bender. Bender will be on this team for depth if we draft a rookie lineman.
as much as this kid could help, i still see bigger needs in other areas... he maybe working out with us, but he's one option. I'd like to see us get someone else.
