Let him go #1, gives us more options as the guys we'd pick (Long,Gholston,DMC) would fall closer to us.

Do you really want a guy like him in Miami...could be problems for years to come if that is the case...

Rhodes and Revis will be licking their chops if Matt Ryan is selected by Miami.

Do all great QBs throw to their running backs on almost every play?

I'm very interested in knowing how this goes. We've needed a franchise QB in Miami for over a decade now, and I think drafting M. Ryan will end all of that....

We've been through so many QB's since Marino retired that it's laughable. There been 11 in all, you've got Huard, Lucas, Greise, Fiedler, Feeley, Rosenfels, Frerotte, Culpepper, Harrington, Green, Lemon, and now Beck. Man that's a sad state of affairs at QB!! Excuse me now while I go throw up...

you refuse to give this guy any credit, its not his fault that callander was the best receiver on the team this year. Matt Ryan made an otherwise slightly above mediocre team with below average skill players a very good college football team. I can't blame the guy for throwing to the rb as much as he did, as a) the receivers never got open b) if they did chances are they would drop it anyway. It like a team full of Jmacs. There is a reason he is projected as a top 3 pick. He may end up as the next peyton, or he may be the next david carr, but its too early to tell right now. besides, he has it* :D

I'm not sure what I think of Ryan as far as who he'll become. I originally thought Matt Hasselback, but iunno...I haven't watched much football lately and I'm kinda questioning that.

He has what? The ability to win against mediocre talent (The ACC plus Notre Dame is a . His only good wins were against Clemson and a beat up VaTech, and he played a mediocre games until the last few minutes. Yeah, there is a reason why he's projected to go in the top 3: Teams need a QB, and he has intangibles. This QB class is weak.

I give him credit for winning those games (do you not remember my Matt Ryan for Heisman thread?)...I loved watching BC play this year because he would pull some crazy shit off in order to win. He just plays way to sloppy to be compared to Peyton Manning. You can compare him to Eli Manning, that is a fair comparison.

He wins games, but he's not going to be able to pull that shit off in the NFL. He's going to have to develop. The Jets' don't need a QB that will take time develop.
