Basically I think that while the Jets have made some good moves this off-season. I think that we need to make the draft a place to beat the Pats. If you look at the biggest weakness of the Pats its that they are old and fat and most of the linebackers are going to turn to dust. It means that the Jets need to get young on offense to have guys who will be playing against old guys for the next 2-5 years. This is why at least for the impact positions we need to be thinking offense, and even for the roll players we should look t offense, I am not suggesting that we only draft offensive players, but if we want to beat the pats we need to expose there weakness which should improve our team

I agree, if the players are there. Our offense is tired and predictable. We don't have a single player that scares anybody. Not at QB, RB or WR. If they aren't there however, we need to try and get a defensive impact player anyway.

you should worry more about making your team better than another team worse, you dont draft a player so another team doesnt get him. It's that simple

i disagree, on draftday, we should only think about what?s the best for this team. Take the players who you think help the team the most, that?s the most important thing.

Seriously...like my mom used to say, "don't worry about what your sister is doing, worry about what you're doing."

i see both sides however I think that I think our biggest problem is the offense because it is so bland. I think that improving the offense in many ways makes the pats weaker because there D is so old and so tired

be very very very careful with the pats - they would love to leapfrog the jets and take chris long to keep him out of NY.......

if the fins do take ryan and the rams jake long - mangini better have the pats phones bugged and a spycam on the pats draft table cause they need to watch the activity there and with the chiefs.....

IMO - if the pats get long or even gholston they would have improved their defense over last year - even without samuel

i think with the improvements we've made to our O-line, we may have 2 things to scare the opposing teams. jones and washington. with coles and cothery putting up good #'s, because our QB's will have more time to throw.
