Wow, we went from one of the ugliest uniforms in the NFL(80s uniform) to one of the best with the uniform of today. Hopefully those Titans uniforms are dead and buried never to return again. God those were ugly and there was no reason to resurrect them from the dead. They weren't even actual throwbacks that the Titans wore back in the day. More like todays uniform with the Titans color scheme. Retarded...
I don't know why, I just always preferred the 80's look. I guess it's because that was my first experience with the Jets as a kid.
I can see that. As an older guy, that's how I felt when they brought back the 1964-77 uniforms. It was like a piece of my childhood brought back to life.
moot point since no changes can be made for this year as you must give the league a years notice on a change, hence the parcells jets wearing the old unis for one year in 97
current jersey's with black cleats are more of a classic NFL look. green pants have to go. wouldn't mind a lil nostalgic throwback to my youth, Sundays spent at Shea, seeing 1 game with the 80's helmet and kelly green though.
I would like their late 70's/80's jersey back, too. The logo is one of the reasons I liked the team, and the white face mask just looks cool.

The current jerseys were brought in by Parcells and not Edwards. They are among the classiest in the league. The 80's jerseys were ugly and got uglier into the early 90s. The Titans uniforms looked like a high school uni to me. I just don't get the whole throwback thing at all. The Jets have a uniform. It is one of the better ones in the NFL. Why change it, even for a game?
It helped for me that after 20 years bad luck with the 80's style (logo of pain), the Jets won the AFC East for the first time ever the first year they switched back to the vintage ones. Not to mention they won the Super Bowl with these (logo of champions), I say keep them.
Love the currect Jersey. I like the 80's jersey and would bring it back a game per season, but I don't want them to change anything about the jets helmet or jersey. Oh and the titans jersey should never be warn again.
