The Patriots late 1st RD Pick was confiscated for SpyGate, so there are only 31 Picks in RD 1 this year
My Top 3 will look the same. Gholston to the Rams makes too much sense IMO. Logically, Oakland should take Dorsey, but I have a feeling they go with McFadden to add another dimension to their offense. Kansas City takes Ellis over Jake Long? It's possible, but I would be surprised if they passed on the OL help. Jake Long to New England! That team just keeps getting better... Is Harvey still considered an OLB prospect? Mendenhall to the Bengals? Rudi is still a good back, but they just drafted Kenny Irons in the 2nd last season and Perry in the 1st a couple years back and have Kenny Watson as well. That's probably the best backfield in the NFL in terms of depth. Why RB? I also don't like Jonathan Stewart to Denver that early. They're a team that finds value in backs later on and have been for a while. I think they go BPA among OL, WR, DT, LB or S. Rubin in the 1st? I like it. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets that high in the draft. Guys like him are hard to find. Nice call. The Pack take another DT? I know they lost Corey Williams, but they have a solid front without him with Ryan Pickett - Colin Cole - Johnny Jolly - Justin Harrell. IMO, they don't need a DT. Many think Ryan might go to Miami #1 overall, but I doubt it and am considering a QB choice in the 2nd for them. Flacco could be a good option. Kenny Philips to the 2nd round? Why do you think so? DeSean Jackson to Round 2 isn't as crazy as some might think. At 169 pounds, he'll need to add some weight to survive in the NFL. Devin Thomas would be a MAJOR steal this late. IMO, he could get into the Top 15 or 20. Remember Robert Meachem from last year's draft? Do you see some similarities between the two? I'm not saying I don't like Thomas, but that's who I thought of. Interesting take and our offense would be taken to a whole new level though. Unless McFadden flops. What's your take on McFadden as a prosepct? Do you see him making a good transition to the NFL and is he a 25-carry back or more of a Reggie Bush type? I heard he's a fumbler and not much of a tackle breaker as well. Plus there's the off-field issues apparently. What do you think about this guy?
we got the 5th pick in the second round. We draft ahead of the Falcons, i got no idea, why. Maybe it has something to do with the Falcons winning the cointoss for the #3 overall.
Teams with the same record rotate picks. So we pick 6th in the first round, 5th in the second, would've been 4th in the third, and so on.
That could be the reason why I listed 31 picks in the first round... Thanks, that's what I thought, but by that reasoning I thought we would have had the 3rd pick in the 2nd round, now I see it only rotates by one pick.
