He could see Dallas trying to trade up for McFadden with the Jets or NE. I would do make the trade if I could get #22, Dallas's #2 and the rights to Chris Canty. They can keep #28.What do you think?

Hell YES we should take it. That's a way better deal than the two No.1's. I would have gladly settled for both ones and a 3 as a replacement for the pick we gave up on Jenkins deal but your proposal is much better.

This seems to be pure speculation by Smith. However, the trade sounds pretty good to me.

i would only take it if we get dallas' two first rounders and their second either this year or next year. Make them break the bank for him if we're giving up a superstar.

gotta take a gamebreaker, everytime we pick this high we never get a homerun threat. That is and has always been what this team lacks. If we trade out it will be a huge mistake, if u want to get ahead of the pack you must take bpa at 6 or you will always be filled with middle of the road players and you will always be middle of the road team, dont know about you guys , but its getting old to me. I would love to see a dominant team on the field wearing green, and then maybe we dont have to think we have a shot at beating someone, we will expect it!

I'd need to get both 1sts and the 2nd if I'm going to trade down that far. And I have to believe the player I pick at #28 will be better than Chris Canty.

I dont know I know the pass rush need isnt as strong but man DMC is the shit, I think if we dont pick him it would be ok but we would need to get KC some weapons with those picks WR, RB, a pass rush would be nice to, it actually might even make sense to draft another corner if we would end up having 4 picks in the first 2 rounds

I want two 1st rounders and Barber or two first rounders and their 2nd round pick (it's not a high pick).

Canty is pretty pretty good 3-4 DE, i dont know if you could draft better at 28.

He's decent. He played better this year in a one gap 3-4, but coming to the Jets he would return to the same two gap 3-4 he played in with Parcells, and he was average at best.

    Whos chris canty?

btw they will not trade their second round pick if we get both of their first rounders i think

we will most likely get 2 first rounders this year and a 3rd rounder

They have a late 2nd rounder, so we better get that 2nd rounder along with the two first rounders. When we were going to trade for Reggie Bush we offered a 4th overall, another late first, and like a 3rd or something like that.

If we trade with Dallas, and we can get Felix Jones and Limas Sweed...I'd do it.

In my opinion I would trade our first for the cowboys 2 first and thier second ONLY if we were able to pick up Mendenhall or stewart or sweed or hardy or another offensive gamebreaker. We can use but don't need to use a first or second round pick on defense, we did pretty well at the end of last season and our new FA additions will go a long way with our current players.

Barber is their workhorse, he's not going anywhere... this trade is still a stretch anyway.

or we could use some of the picks we picked up (how many 4th rounders do we have) to move back up from that 22nd spot into the mid teens and get ourselves a sweed or one of the others that will go mid first round.

as much as i would love a gamebreaker like mcfadden i think we can do a ton of damage moving out of that spot.
