Jets sign FB Richardson

    Tony Richardson has confirmed to SI.com that he has agreed to terms with the New York Jets. The financial terms were not disclosed, but the deal is for one year.

    Richardson, a three-time Pro Bowl selection, is latest addition to a revamped Jets' offense; and he will be counted on to pave the way for Thomas Jones in the running game.

    Originally an undrafted free agent signed by the Dallas Cowboys, Richardson spent the first 11 seasons of his NFL career with the Kansas City Chiefs before suiting up for the Minnesota Vikings the past two seasons.

    Mangini and Callahan are making a beastly blocking unit for this team. I can't wait for the season

    1 year? Great signing. Do you think they plan on running the ball this year or what?

    McFadden is going to love running behind these guys.

    If we cant run with this line, and blocking....then we just cant run EVER! This has to be the year......can hardly wait!!!

    he is 36 and has been cast off by 2 teams in 2 seasons. Should be pretty cheap.

    He's also an All-Pro caliber lead blocker. Might not be cheap, for a FB.

    It's only a 1 year deal, I wouldn't worry about the money too much regardless of how much it is

    Great signing I dont care about the details. Oh and BTW lets stop the McFadden talk, its not going to happen. Not a chance, we already have our RB.
