Cash rules everything

    During this time period I have questioned two things:

    1) How much cap room do the Jets have left.

    2) depends on the first one, just because draft positioning is so important, can we afford the 6th overall pick, especially with a headcase which McFadden reeks of and he is going to want all the money cause in reality, he's got kids to feed?


    I think at this point it may be wiser to trade down just for money possition

    I think a lot of people are overstating the cap issue, I would much rather be a winning team with serious cap trouble than what we were last season. Honestly, I would say get the best player no matter the cost.

    Jeez people it wont matter who we pick at 6, as long as we pick there, he will get more than the guy at #7 and less than the guy at #5. it is how the draft works, if we take DMC at 5 he wont cost any more than if we take Gholston, or for that matter, Colt Brennan. Now obviously Colt Brennan is not worth the #6 pick, maybe a sixth round pick.
