...and you know this how? They COULD want Marion Barber from Dallas. Then they would be making a deal to get Dallas' picks and Barber while America's Team gets Run DMC. This likely won't happen, but it'd be awesome. 1. Marion Barber 2. BPA for offense with one first rounder 3. BPA for defense with second first rounder
Despite that it's NOT what would be best for their team, I say there's a 60/40 chance the Raiders pick McFadden because Divis is obsessed with physical talent. Russell was one of the biggest talents physically last draft, and McFadden is the same this draft. Doesn't matter whether or not it's a need; Davis will nab a guy if he has a man-crush on him. Good mock though.
A couple of reaches (Brandon Flowers and Jerod Mayo) and a few picks that I don't understand (Rivers to the Cardinals?)
trade trade trade, since our front office decided to overspend on an un proven pass rusher we need to trade down and draft a receiver its that simple that is our biggest concern for us now
Gholston will not be there at 6. If we do not trade down I see us taking either Leodis McKelvin or Rodgers Cromartie
I could see Gholston going to the Rams. I think everything for us depends on what the Rams do. If the Rams to Dorsey, Ellis, or Jake Long, I think Oakland takes Gholston or McFadden and we get whoever they don't grab. If this happens, I think they flip a coin. If the Rams go Gholston, I think the Raiders go McFadden and we get screwed value-wise. If this happens and the Raiders go Dorsey, Ellis, or Jake Long, I will be thoroughly surprised. Less so with Ellis because Davis loves USC guys, but surprised nonetheless.
there's a chance oak takes dt ellis and we have to choose dmc or vg.personally i say vg.i saw dmc play alot this year.against the better sec teams he was stopped at first contact alot
The BETTER (?) SEC teams? He had his three best games against SEC teams...and he rushed for 105 and a score against a damn good Mizzou team in the Cotton Bowl. NATIONAL CHAMPS LSU: 206 yards and 3 TDs Tennessee: 117 yards Auburn: 43 yards (only "bad" game of the season) Kentucky: 173 yards and 1 TD Alabama: 195 yards and 2 TDs South Carolina: 321 yards and 1 TD That first contact is a crock of shit...the guy was a dominant player in college and he's worthy of the #1 Overall pick. He's upside, college productivity, and athleticism put him in the top spot.
