Hmm. I wonder if ESPN plans on mentioning Brett Favre's retirement this week.

Well, now the NFC North REALLY blows.

How can you get gray hair that early?

Favre is the man, probably my favorite QB in my football watching days. I think he left us with the stumbling completion more than the pick in the Giants game.

Good, after watching him in the freezing cold during the championship game looking like he would have rather been sipping hot chocolate in front of the fireplace, I knew it was time for him to hang them up.

One of my favorite non Jets(or almost Jets) players but definetly time..

Thanks for the memories Brett. Arguably the greatest quarterback in NFL History.

I feel really sorry for Rodgers. Look at the shoes he has to fill!

Yes that means we're a step closer with Kornheiser out of the booth!

    Madden-Favre..................Michaels.

    I can only imagine.

He still has Hines Ward and Tony Romo to slobber over.

Let's check back in June to see if he really means it. I'm not convinced.

No, he was the best player on the Jets draft board in 1991 but we didn't have a first round pick. We had the 34th pick in the early second round, he was picked 33th. The Cardinals at 32th and the Jets tried to make a deal but the Cards cancelled in the eleventh hour and he went to the Falcons.

Sad to see him go, one of my favorite non-Jets. You have to say though, Brett had one hell of a career.

Oddly enough, Warren Sapp retired officially today as well by handing in his retirement at league headquarters. Two greats, future Hall of Famers signing off the same day.
